Oh I like this!! ...wonderful dynamics and your trills are so effortless. Nice job, Alex dear. I know classical is not your favorite genre, but at least we can all see you're quite capable of its intricacies, regardless. Very relaxing - puts one into a peaceful twilight. You have many loyal and appreciative followers - not at all surprising. ;)
@ISACKENDER hmm i stopped taking lessons years ago already, but i dont really have any good tips for learning a piece like this. i suck as a teacher xD
@ISACKENDER Depend on what you think is hard. If you feel that you are ready to play it. Practice slow. Practice left and right hand separate and together. Train extra on the places you find difficoult. If you are not ready for the piece yet, play something else to prepare yourself. Be careful about the fingering. Also don´t play the left hand to loud.
I have technical question: also bought this instrument and tried recording and playing the MIDI file on my computer. Sounds terrible!! How did you record? Directly onto your computer (see you are wearing headphones...)
hey i saw you are from switzerland, so maybe i answer in german xD
and i am wearing them because it was late when i recorded this. that is the reason why i bought a digital piano. that i can play at any day / night time :D
How do you like the 370? I was thinking about getting it over the 340 but they said the only difference is that the 370 has the wooden keys and a few more voices, and only the 380 has the string resonance.
trust me, the wooden keyboard is so much better, especially because of the synthetic ivory tops,
i played the 340 and the keys feel like plastic and your fingers can slip on the keys, the keys of the 370 avoid this. and the 370 has string resonance either, adjustable in 20 steps so i would say take the 370 instead of the 340 no doubt
vr = version, what ppl that dont understand classical music call a piece, movement or some way to identify the actual version i like. I looked up heaps of Chopin's Nocturne and they all sound different and i dont like them. I like yours cause it sounds the same as in the game Eternal Sonata, japanese RPG i play on xbox.
I think to identify the vr i like its Op. 9 no.2 whatever that means, and i found some others that are good too, they all say E sharp :?
unfortunately i don´t even know the song itself. i never played eternal sonata. only watched my wife playing it. but if you had sheet music, i would take a look at it.
wah... I'm stunned... A piano like that produced good sound! Great! I like the grace notes that had been emphasized really well! Well played~ Recorded with a phone... Clean Playing and not over pedaled! Very great~ Why not afford an acoustic piano? Btw... balance the sound, I heard some bass part blurred some of the melody, ^ ^...
first: i do have an acoustic piano, but that´s at my mom´s house. and under my apartment live old people. and since i enjoy playing piano at every day and night-times, it´s the best solution. and i´m also stunned by the sound quality and the playability of the keyboard.
thanks for the advice with the bass and the compliment
wow , it has been a long time since I visited your channel , now my piano friend has got his new digital piano and upload some more videos ;) nice playing . I won't forget you as a subscriber , Alexander ;) , the songs you play is very relaxing , especially the Build 6 The Sims ;)
well , it's not working so well , but when I get my new digital piano Yamaha YDP-S30 , I will re-do it ;) and a lot of songs too ! :) haha , same to me , that old piano in the lecture hall has awful sounds :( cos it's all out of tune ...
First of all, your technical stuff is right. However, musically, try adding more dynamics. Two questions, What's up with the headphones? And is that a real piano or is that like a keyboard thing? Keep up the hard practicing!
and yeah, the dynamics... it´s really hard for me, adding them while being recorded.. i still have a problem with that. oh well..
and it´s a digital piano, which is close to a real piano, but far from a keyboard. at least that´s what i think
and somehow i prefer to play with headphones, but that´s not the reason why i use them while i record, somehow i can´t record the audio without using the headphones at the same time.
i don´t really know. as most of the game music i play on piano, i never played the game, like the sims, final fantasy and eternal sonata. strange, but true. i just like the music :D
i´m not into rpg´s. i watched my wife playing eternal sonata though and the ending is reaaaally long i can tell.. ;)

Isn't this one of the chapters' themes in ES? I don't remember, I'm still skimming through ES really quickly for the Encore version.

i don´t really know. as most of the game music i play on piano, i never played the game, like the sims, final fantasy and eternal sonata. strange, but true. i just like the music :D
