what's the difference between FDM and a 3D printer?

@sies4 I think FDM machine is a some sort of a 3D printer, you have many different was of creating objects in 3D like SLS, LOM, SLA and a CNC machine, all work differently but create a 3D object fast.

yes, the support material is automatically generates by the software. You just simply open stl file and orient the part then click print.
