This game runs windows exact when you make it use the open GL/AL librarys over the direct x/sound ones. Game is alittle.... quirky compared to the other games in the series but still it's mayhem.
How do you make it run so smooth? I'm trying to run Serious Sam TSE 1.05 on Ubuntu Wine but i get shity framerate when i walk around. /hud_iStats shows that the framerate doesnt drop below 130 but still what the screen gets is not that fast do you know how to fix this?
Yeah, it has some OpenGL support (this game doesn't work because of unsupported OpenGL features). I think that Wine with the frontend PlayOnLinux is the way to go, or maybe pay 200$ for Vmware Workstation (expect bad performance).

Runs really good. This game has some pretty good graphics.

Yeah it really run great when changing to OpenGL. :)
It would be nice if more games included OpenGL (and OpenAL) support. Then they would be more likely to run good with WINE.

Is there a list with games within virtualbox not with wine.I'm not wine guru and always mess things up so I prefer virtualbox.

virtualbox doesnt have 3d support. well, very very little 3d support. certainly not enough for gaming.
