Thanks for the great lecture series. I am a doctor and yet found the lecture interesting. I would love to see what the advanced class of anatomy would look like with Prof Diamond. She knows anatomy and how to teach it.

And the slides were carefully selected to represent the course.

Is there similar lecture on advanced anatomy?

Whew! i made it from the first lecture video through this last lecture! and its a great review of human anatomy and it made a lot of things clear and understandable by explaining the dynamics and principles so well. Seems so complex but made it as simple as that. THANKS VERY MUCH PROF DIAMOND! GOD BLESS YOU MORE! :-)

Very engaging professor she has truly enlightened me about the subject. My professor just reads off the slides and does not get me motivated about the subject. but this professor has changed my life and renewed my interest in anatomy. Im truly grateful that youtube has allowed video lectures from multiple universities to help further the understanding of students.

Excellent lecture programme Professor Diamond. I made detailed notes all the way through. Someone liked them so much they stole the initial notes 1-24 from me devastated and too late for the exams I worked through them again.

Question about hysterectomy. Don't they pull the uterus out through the vagina these days, which would prevent the possibility of accidentally cutting the ureters? Can anyone answer?

Doctors can deliver the uterus through the vagina, but the patient has to ask for this option. It is faster to do a C section and the doctor is paid a higher amount for a C setion even though a C section requires a longer recovery and a chance of an infection. Most women do not know that they can ask the doctor to do a "vaginal" hysterectomy.

Marian wrote corpora cavernosa twice. Since she's not Lorena Bobbit and doesn't appear to suffer from epilepsy, I'm sure we can forgive her. The ventral tube of tissue surrounding the urethra is called the corpus spongiosum. If you think of this as the mouth, then the two eyes are the corpora cavernosa and the pupils would be the deep arteries. The singular of corpora cavernosa is corpus cavernosum.

the main part of the lecture is a review on the latter part of the lecture series, the integumentary system was on the schedule and in the test questions but she announced that they couldn't talk about it, so it was included in the review part of the lecture, only the first 10 minutes or so is male reproductive system
