Hi there! No, the sounds you see in video are 100% free of amps. There is not an built in amp either. This is only module's "power". :)
I can assure you the sounds are awesome. Maybe, what you report about the pack start up sound is something in the video, not in real sound. Maybe thanks to the camera, not sure...

i followed your comment from gbfans, im user xtrmn8r17..Will you be using an AMP with these? or is there a built in amp? i dont have time to watch whole video. Also alternate proton pack start up has WAY too much base and cant turn ur amp up much because the speakers start cracking.
