  • Finally a good tune to go with the video.

  • Well Done!

  • I agree. Very nice. I have been out of the air for 20+ years and am thinking that a '46 C or CD is what is going to get me back up (along with some taildragger time).

  • very nice :-)

  • Great video. My grandfather bought one of the first, and one of my uncles owned another. Brings back good memories indeed. Thanks for sharing your photos and video!

  • WOW does this ever bring back some memories of afriend of mine, and our flights in his 'erp-cup'... N99399. happy days then.

  • It's not K1N9... It's 1N9. Nice video!

  • Actually, they have added the "K" prefix to US airports for a 4-letter id system now. GPS's need the 4th letter...OSH is now KOSH...same difference, though. Nice looking 'Coupe...

  • I thought the K only proceeded airports with 3 letter identifiers like KMMU and not N85. Looks like I stand corrected. Got it.. I just looked it up. The ICAO adds the K to all airports while the FAA refers to the airports using the three letter / number system MMU N85 ECT.. Thanks for the correction.. I still refer to 1N9 as 1N9 even though the GPS wants to see the K.

  • No worries...and I'm with you, OSH will always be "OSH" to me, not "KOSH"...

Being from the Western half of the US, it makes the airports sound like radio stations to add the "K"... :)

  • I noticed that along with the K in your ham call sign. I am in agreement. If you put the two together, you still get the same place... See ya.. 73 de KC8VJD

  • haha uncle allen!
