Glider should be powered by brushless motor & lipo batteries it trasforms this model and will give vertical climbs & great height with only a short motor burst.
No.. The best way to go these days in gliders is to fly them off the slope!
They can literally be flown for hours!
I have this kit and it's ok.. Kinda cheaply built. But then again we mostly scratch build all of planes anyway so I guess that I can't expect too much.
With that... this plane is very lightweight and flies well even on the lightest of thermals... and a very light breeze up the slope.
I don't think he needs a high start cord, it sounds and looks like he's got a brushless electric motor with a fold back prop to get it up! :) The best way to go these days in gliders!
*Very nice Video man! That's always been my favorite sail plane!.. I love the Enya music in the back ground too makes a nice touch :)
a great method to improve your flying skill is to lead you turns with ailerons to achieve desired bank and make the turn as tight as you like using the rudder thats what swings the tail around, but above all, be smooth and easy on the controls and relax with it.
I think you have got confused you use the elevator to tighten the turn once you have the desired bank from the ailerons, the flying on this video leaves something to be desired.
First you have to love what you do and know what your doing, 2ndy ................... well thats about it there is no 2ndly! its a free expression of what I love best!

Great vid, but this is by no means giant scale, you need to check out the vids of this sailplane's 10 meter scale cousin; that's giant scale!
