Butter makes everything better. I've seen people make pretty harsh remarks about how much butter she uses. Seems to me that if someone is worried about their weight, they should quit whining about what's in their food and hit the gym more. :P

i used to tip she gives for lemon juice it helps with the apple flavor i juss put a lil bit tho. and shortbread cookies and OMGOSH it tastes sooooo good i wanna make pie with it. i made home made puff pastry cuz i wanna make stuff from 100% scratch. It's gonna come out kinda tasting like pie lol...... but ohhhh the smell n taste. It's awsome. thx paula!

I hate how we Americans take such huge shortcuts to making the true dish. Any German housewife who bakes Apfelstrudel would never use a store-bought fila dough. A true Apfelstrudel would have many layers of the flaky dough because the apples would be spread all over very thinly and rolled from long end to long end. And it for sure would taste a lot better too! And that white sugary topping - yuck - should rather have a vanila sauce.

people have lived on butter for hundreds of years . Butter contains lots of vitamins . People have bad health because they use bad oils and too much sugar. Fake oils would be vegetable oil, corn oil, margarine and soybean oil all of them have gone through processing that would make you puke thinking of how many gallons you put in your body. On top of the processing its been deodorized because its old and rancid and rancid oil = cancer
