  • i love this. it's beautiful, classic, and represents in some way teenage elegance. oh, young love ;)

  • The ironic thing is that when 1939 came, Clark's movie defeated Judy's: "Gone with the Wind" fought and won against "The Wizard of Oz" for Best Picture.

God rest Clark Gable and Judy Garland.

  • the voice of a 30 year old in an 11 year old body

  • judy is an amazing singer at that age and under! holy freakinaaaaa

  • Wow! At 14 she was just mesmerizing!

  • Happy Birthday, dear Mr. Gable! Born February 1, 1901, in Cadiz, Ohio. We still think you are grand, and we still love you, too.

  • sweet, little great talent!

  • how can one dislike this video?

  • This song is called "Dear Mr. Gable", an adaption of "You Made Me Love You".

  • I first saw this in a feature on the Gone With The Wind Blu-ray edition that told the story of Clark Gable's life and his career. I think it's a wonderful tribute song to him, and Judy is the BEST person to ever sing this song. R.I.P to both of them.

  • You made me love YOU Judy!

  • JUDY, YOU MADE ME LOVE YOU...

  • what a sweet voice our beloved Miss Judy had... it's a rotten shame she ruined it with pills and booze... imagine if she were still alive today... would Liza be as popular as she is? I doubt it... even at 90 y.o. Miss Judy would still be outshining that no-talent Liza mess

  • THE GREATEST SINGER IN THE UNIVERSE!!!....

  • This is wonderfu,l you can't believe that someone so young can sing with so much feeling, love it.

  • i get tears in my eyes when she sings; she always pulls at my heart strings.

  • In this times I see that the end of the world is near :x 7391??? BTW love it ;)

  • WOW this is the frist video i saw that did not get any dislikes

  • how sweet.

  • She is the best thing that ever happened in Hollywood. Nothing or no one compares to her talent, in my opinion. She is my inspiration. A truly beautiful person, inside and out <3

  • I love her & ariana grande! But isn't this called Dear Mr.Gable?

  • @wiiz1000 It's called Dear Mr. Gable (You Made Me Love You). And yes, they are both amazing! :D

  • She really was something, wasn't she?

  • The five people you meet in heaven. :)

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • 3:19, the best smile I have ever seen. I'm 13 and Judy is my IDOL!

  • This is truly one of the greatest songs in the history of movie musicals.

Thanks for posting this classic, MinstrelSurfer.

  • Oh Judy, you made me love you!!

  • the most amazing talent to ever come out of hollywood in the first half of the 20th century. But the most amazing thing is that clark gable as long as he lived dreaded every birthday as he was dreading the thought of judy jumping out of a cake singing this song. see this song first had it debut at a celebration of his birthday hosted by louis b. mayer on the backlots at mgm

  • Ariana Grande did an amazing version of this!

  • @uklovermidmurds I'd say this version is pretty amazing, too. :)

  • this should have movie views

  • @Poet2916 more*

  • Judy Garland has the best singing voice ever.

  • @saolili I DEFINITELY AGREE

  • This is it. The film clip that propelled Judy to stardom. It still has the power it had then. Her fabulous talent, the gift to let you see inside, was on display for the world to see and love. After Over The Rainbow, it was superstardom.
