  • Fucking great

  • THIS IS WHAT I LISTEN TO TO GET PUMPED UP BEFORE I GO OUT AND KILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. (it in the gym)

  • There's music for the ordinary masses, and then, there's Radiohead for us.

  • @MegaHillview so in other words, u're saying, were extra-ordinary. NIce.

  • @JayPleezer304 that's a big YES!

  • @MegaHillview WRONG ATTITUDE. thats exactly the type of hipster mentally that is causing modern day music to suck. RADIOHEAD IS GREAT AND WE NEED TO SPREAD THE WORD, NOT KEEP IT OUR SECRET.

  • @MegaHillview Men we are not Hipsters

  • how can he sing and play at the same time its such a hard song OO

  • a stupid said to me at school: RADIOHEAD is a copy of PULP, and i just say, shut up you fucking hipster

  • i love how at 2:30 the song completely changes

  • @Biffmiesterc yeah is cool!!!

  • "I have no idea what I'm talking about." Sounds like Bob Dylan and I love it!!!

  • the music and the video are an acid trip WOOO

  • He feels dead inside because he cannot be himself and get out of this artificial role (skin) he's been given. He realizes he was in denial at first, and thought he was fooling everyone, but he can't hide anymore. It is too obvious... there are lines on his skin because it's not his... and it doesn't fit him. So it's about the roles we are forced to play in society... any role, whether it be personal or not.

  • Has the light gone out for you? Because the light's gone out for me....... just awesome. And live, they were amazing under a rainy sky in scotland.

  • I LOVE THIS SHIT!

  • they are amazing, as if they were meant to be radiohead.

  • off to find 38518's comment.

  • I heard that you have to wear a patch while hearing this song so you dont get pregnant.

  • Love the OK Computer vibe in this track

  • Comment removed

  • Y U SO GOOD!?

  • Someone said that they were listening to Muse when they made this album...that's the most dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life.

  • lol Thom...

  • 'They don't make nice songs', isn't *quite* as respectful as you make it out to be. Took 4 months to reply though, huh? Did your psychiatrist decide that you were ready to be 'a part of society' again?

  • Pure genius, an amazing song.

  • Clap clap clap clap.... :))

  • i can't stop listening to this FUCKING SONG!!

    i need help...i really do

    Wait... i don't

  • I am slowly giving up hope for the future. My kids are screwed. And yet Kensian Growth must go on. This is my soundtrack - it makes it ok. Just.

  • I was dead in Coma, this song brought me back

  • oh i just love these guys ♥

  • Phil is such an amazing drummer!! So underrated

  • RADIOHEAD = PROPER BAND

  • I love this song :)

  • thom's vocals suck on this, as much as I like him

  • i hate everyone only claps at the end

  • This is a true BAND.

  • that change is one of the best

  • I have no idea what I am talking about!!

I am trapped in this body and can't get out!!!

    Con esta si puedo volar!!!

Has the light gone out for you?

  • Jonny Greenwood is my hero :O

  • phil's ride sounds like milk and honey

  • ouça a banda que tom yorke adotou no brasil esta no google chama se rock do curdistao

  • RAPE MUSIC.

  • That song is perfection in every way. And the reason that in rainbows is my favourite album.

  • I feel I should pay someone for that.

If that song don't move you, your dead.

  • Why is Radiohead so awesome?

  • @MrSamibulin its colin, im tellin ya

  • @MrSamibulin That's a dumb question. Listen up, it seems pretty obvious by listening (and watching) up. Kisses.

  • some ppl have nothing better to do but trash talk and try to stir shit up....move along troll. go listen to your pop boy band shit.

  • @385181: Nice songs? .. like Barney?

  • @bonjouralicia probs a bieber fan, but barney is better than beiber

  • @PlanetAirsoftPlym That isn't a fair comparison. I'd say Barney rivals even Thom.

  • Never has an SG looked so cool.

  • @385181

how did you ever get to this?! you must of gone out your way just to come to the basement version of this song just to say something that no one that loves this band gives two shits about? what brought you here to say something that stupid?

  • @TheDeuce its not out of my way they are a highly popular band. i was simply voicing my opinion that they never seem to quite pull me into the music. i respect their intentions.

  • @385181 Stop bagging on this guy he just has his own opinion, he doesn't think their songs are nice, so what. I'm a huge Radiohead fan and the songs affect me heavily on many levels, but I respect your opinion. Why can't people grow up?

  • @TheDeucetrey You just really confused me.

  • @385181 go back and play with your toys little boy

  • this song has a structure just not really a melody of any kind

  • @385181 if you want more traditional melody from them then listen to the bends or ok computer.

  • Fuck,I gotta study...well,it can wait

  • funkiest guitar riff since lenny kravitz are you gonna go my way ...

  • weirdly from the behind, Thom looks like a little kid with a big head :S ...

  • where did these guys come from?

  • @terios01234 From other planet!

  • Phil was fuckin' LOVIN' during the bridge. He is dancing his ass off drumming off the side of the snare. I love that fucking man. Holy shit. He loves.

  • there's so many little intricate bits to this song... Jonny's little muted guitar strums at the start of the song are super-cool... just like he did in Creep... and I know it's not really worth mentioning, but the way Phil and Colin come in ABSOLUTELY PERFECTLY at the start of the song... Thom starts playing, then at EXACTLY the same time, they launch in. Then it all gets a little math-rock from about 4:00 onwards... so coooool....

  • @GStarDragon duuuude, that's exaxtly what i was thinking but i couldn't put it into words. any radiohead song i listen to i feel as if its all just bits of intricate amazing bits that make up each song. each member is amzin in their own way

  • the whole band are just tearing it up like no one else since sonic youth

  • Im gonna go there......Radiohead then the Beatles

  • @OfGrainWaves. yep.

  • @OfGrainWaves Preach. and im black. lol

  • @OfGrainWaves yuppp i agree! isn't it amazing that we live in a world where there's a band as good as the beatles still touring around? godd whoever said music sucks nowadays has a thing or two to learn...

  • The King of Limbs live from the basement, July 1st!

  • @Boomkin1337 really?

  • DAMN!!! These guys are amazing. Too bad in America we have crap.

  • Jonny is fucking amazing in this song!

  • very very few singers could play a groove like that, WHILE singing, and fucking dancing like a down syndrome kindergardener.

    thom is genius

  • @Sheebeedeebee Don't get me wrong, I love Radiohead, but playing and singing what Thom is doing isn't especially difficult. Note that his syllables often line up with his guitar notes, and when they don't, he's often holding his vocal notes out.

  • @minusjason that's only during the first part of the verse that you're referring to...that being said, i can play this song and sing it at the same time, and i'm not sublimely talented or anything, so you are correct in that it isn't all that difficult.

  • @VivaArsenal4 I think the point you're both missing is that while we can all easily play this, none of us have the capacity to CREATE this, as Thom continues to do.

  • @jwalk38

Radiohead has the capacity to create this, not Thom... sorry, just trying to start a weak argument.

  • @minusjason hes still a fuckin god mate. but yea good observation

  • @Sheebeedeebee the truly amazing thing is that Ed could definitely do Thom's riff just as good as he does and make things a lot simpler for Thom. But ohh noo! he has to play the riff himself...he's a master!

  • @0armin0 Jonny is master of them all =p

  • @Coreyland loll johnny is the reincarnation of tchaikovsky

  • @Sheebeedeebee yeah it'd be hard for a singer but, you have to remember Thom is God.

  • @Sheebeedeebee Thom a genius? Yes. Thom a kindergartner with downs syndrome? maybe. If there is one thing certain it is that God gave this guy the voice of an angel. Reckoner <3

  • OOh I want that guitar tone at the beginning! :D

  • @baddneighbour You are a joke.

  • Top 3 best bands ever....

  • I love him....I love him...I love him....Jonny. Never have I witness such unbelievable talent. So unassuming, then he melts your brain! He's sooooo beautiful. I wish I was his guitar.

  • For those of you that think Radiohead have nothing to offer but sorrow, wake up. These guys write music that is beautiful, musically complex, haunting, and above all, unapologetically poignant... not to mention that many of their songs aren't sad at all. IMO, they are brilliant. Totally fucking brilliant. So don't come here, watch the vid, and then complain that its "too depressing", "too aloof", etc. You know what, you all just aren't intellectually or spiritually capable of getting it.

  • @mdavenrow Yeah I would be pretty depressed if I couldn't get Radiohead too.

  • ha I've never laughed at the dislike bar but it's funny seeing those 21 little thumbs down just wondering what kind of life their leading

  • I personally do not believe Jonny Greenwood 'play's the guitar... I believe he has learned to abuse/bash the shit out of it so much that it obeys his every whim and makes whatever sound he desires.

  • best those three guitars have ever sounded together

  • THEE song of the first decade of the new millennium. Amazing guys.

  • Phil Selway: Drummer Extraordinaire

  • Fucking Brilliant.

  • thom, just making the noises your guitar is making is cheating. even if your voice is incredible, it's cheating.

  • Check out Radiohead Jazz Project -- there is a video of Bodysnatchers done by Lawrence University Jazz Ensemble, check it out! Search Radiohead Jazz Project.

  • 2:32. When the song just changes completely. Pure awesome.

  • LOL it's really fun to watch Thom's hair when he's dancing

  • class, radiohead rock i uploaded morningmrmagpie to my channel please watch it!

  • Radiohead always sounds good live! It's amazing!

  • Anyone stating that the Beatles are overrrated should listen to the White Album, get a grip guys. Radiohead in a class of their own in the last 15 years. Love both of them.

  • @TheKapanis yup......I fuckin love the beatles.....but....Radiohead is the greatest band of all time.

  • "BODYSNATCHERS" - RADIOHEAD

  • my favourite Radiohead song!

  • this is what dope does to you ....!!! it refines your taste ..!!

  • thom with his "AXE". . .

    lovely. ..

  • this band remains UNCONTESTED

  • if i ever find this magical place they call a basement. imma havin an orgy of me and all my instruments all up in that junk, plus anyone else who wants in. no fat chix

  • @blackmurcery Completely agree. I want to be in the little piece of heaven.

  • ohhh...yeah

  • Music reflects who you are. Dislike this band. what kind of lyric is this ?? for torturing yourself i guess. World is full of madness and i think they caught it perfectly, ..... singer leads the pain on this band. Sorry about my opinion, but it seems to me that they come to life for suffer. They are trap in a painful situation.

  • @azulvacio well its my opinion that music is almost never listened to to create negative emotions. sad or tortured music creates powerful emotions that remind the listener as well as the musician that he/she is human and alive.

  • Are these basementsongs gonna be released on DVD?

  • @KeizerrO - it was released on DVD in 2008. Just Google search for [radiohead from the basement] and you'll find info. about it.

  • Why has this turned into a debate about who is better, The Beatles or Radiohead?? Just listen. Radiohead are easily in my opinion one of the greatest bands of all time. So too are The Beatles. But I must say I prefer Radiohead.

  • The Beatles were good for their time and are giants in pioneer importance, but Radiohead is just so much better. All the musicians in this band are better writers, instrumentalists and have more precision than anything the Beatles had.

  • beatles were breaking new ground like radiohead, who knows will be the most Radiohead influential

  • radiohead ARE the greatest band to walk to planet..no question about it!

  • @sashalovesderek HELL YEAH!

  • @sashalovesderek ya ke$ha too

  • @epiclife247 are you kidding? haha

  • This has to be one of the best funky freakout jams ever recorded. Loved it from the instant I played the album.

  • You can't compare Radiohead and the Beatles : they are not from the same generation ! By the way in an interview they said they've realise that the Beatles songs were very short compare to the feeling it brings. Radiohead pays a tribute to the Beatles, cause they are fans !

  • @Vince77F In my opinion Radiohead are the Beatles of our generation. They are the only other band to have the track record of amazing records, the ability to take experimental music both old and new and mix it with popular music, jazz, and classical music while maintaing big stadiums and popularity. They are the only 2 bands that can do that. Look at the album Kid A and compare it to The White Album. What two bands could do that other than The Beatles and Radiohead?

  • @SolidWookie radioheads less popular by a long shot. and i wouldnt compare anything to the beatles, or i wouldnt compare radiohead to any other band. most bands are unique and especially in radoheads and the betaes cases. ya know?

  • @SolidWookie the Floyd

  • this is beyond rock.. i mean... guns n roses are nice... but this is definitely something else.

  • @everuck how did you come up with that comparison? radiohead is in a whole different ballpark than guns n roses, they dont even play the same fucking sport. guns n roses is a good listen though.

  • Don't say never? Radiohead aren't even together right now.

  • @Tris67 Jonny actually just did an interview with Italian Rolling Stone saying that they're currently in the studio working on a new album.

  • Im so with you on that one!

  • Radiohead is my dad's and I favorite band. I only wish more people my age had good taste in music.

  • i love Radiohead too, but the beatles have accomplished more in more different areas than Radiohead EVER will.

  • @Tris6

  • @Tris67 Dont say ever.

  • What the hell does Thom sing at 2.22?

  • 21 people have no taste.

  • radiohead are equally as versatile as the beatles.

  • the beatles and radiohead are probably on an equal level at the moment. obviously the beatles had alot more of that 60s pop feel but were great songwriters that started the ball rolling.

  • @2brave2handle Radiohead is probably the closest thing to the Beatles we have today, in terms of being the most popular AND the best at what they do.

  • radiohead are 1000000x better than The Beatles

  • @eVizMa o.k. I prefer the beatles but thanks for telling me how wrong i am.
