Love Airbus, Love Embraer... Some peoples say "Airbus is horrible" because don't know why is better. - Less fuel flow - Highest range - Better profit per seat (even in more comfortable configurations) Personally, I think Airbus is more beautiful than Boeing (A320x738, 330x767). Also, I think in some times the fly-by-wire gets in the way, but is better than the almost-all-analogical Boeing. Also I think the Light-blue of the Airbus is more beautiful than the yellow from the 747/57/67/77.
@Boeing757200A It is real idiot thats why the airbus that crashed into NYC Hudson river could not properly seal its self since the plane lost power to both engines and if you don't have any power no electronics and safety features wont work retard!
@danielc365 Flight 1549 had its APU running, providing full power / hydraulics to the aircraft. But you are correct about the "ditching button" it is meant to slow flooding in a water landing.
@jjarosz89 Yeah but the APU was supplying full power to crucial instruments and everytime they tried to restart those engines power was being drained from the APU so likely they had not sufficient power to even use the DITCH button or maybe it doesen't work from APU power because the pilots had enough time to simply hit the switch its right above their heads.
I've always been a fan of the Boeing 737-800s, but the day I went inside an Airbus for the first time I thought I was riding my school bus, except everything was smoother than the Boeing; Take offs, cruising and Landings. I fell in love with Airbus, love at first feel you can say... even though the fuselage may not be as good looking as Boeing to me, Airbus is awesome!
Boeing is much more better and greener and safer the only reason airbus added a seal is they know there planes have to ditch in the water . Boeing planes are much more quieter than airbus.
