CFL if you're stopped at the 35 yard line and attemp a field goal, it'll be a 42 yard attemp. NFL it would be a 52 yard attemp. Stupid as hell, in the NFL the ball goes through the uprights out of bounds, it's no different than a player catching the ball out of bounds. So in the CFL you're awarded for failer, not in the NFL. But like I said in last post, if you're stopped at the 35 yard line in the CFL you need 35 yards to reach the end zone via field goal, whereas in the NFL you need to go 45 yards and out of bounds to score a field goal which isn't right, Ball should be placed at the 25 not 35. If a team is stopped at the 35 yard line, the field goal attempt is from the 42 yard line in the CFL, The NFL it's from the 52 yard line, stupid as hell, the ball is out of bounds when it goes through. You don't need 52 yards to score a touchdown, so a field goal should be the same way. NFL steal CFL players.

@wpfb3 - I didn't say the goal post was too far away, in order to score a touchdown the player doesn't have to run to the back of the end zone, that would be out of bounds, same should be for field goals, if you're to stupid to understand that then you're just that, stupid. Like I said, if it's 4th and 10 from the 35 yard line, you need 35 yards to score a TD. Same should be true for a FG - Ball should be snapped from the 25 yard line not from the 35 since the goal line for FG's is 10 yards back

The CFL AND NFL are two totally different games, I'm not/wasn't comparing the two, if you read right you'd know I said the CFL is a more exciting game all around, because of the 3 downs.

@SteelerGold1 - NFL fair catch stupid, CFL no fair catch, must give receiver 5 yards, more exciting, more can happen. CFL if you're stopped at the 35 yard line and attemp a field goal, it'll be a 42 yard attemp. NFL it would be a 52 yard attemp. Stupid as hell, in the NFL the ball goes through the uprights out of bounds, it's no different than a player catching the ball out of bounds. No different than having to run through the back of the end zone in order to score a TD.

@SteelerGold1 - The one thing I hate about the CFL is, if you miss the field goal and the ball sails through the back of the end zone, you get 1 point. So in the CFL you're awarded for failer, not in the NFL. But like I said in last post, if you're stopped at the 35 yard line in the CFL you need 35 yards to reach the end zone via field goal, whereas in the NFL you need to go 45 yards and out of bounds to score a field goal which isn't right, Ball should be placed at the 25 not 35. Make sense?

@adamforest Seahawks should have stopped Willie Parker instead of letting him break free for a 74 yard TD, or maybe learn how to cover the #1 receiver instead of letting him fly down field and catching a 40 yard pass from Randle El for another TD. Plus they had to beat the Bengals, the Colts +the refs, and the Broncos all on the road to get there, so nobody knows what platter you're talking about cause that is the hardest way to win a Superbowl imaginable.

@TheAmpad The AFC north is arguably the toughest division in football. We could put together an All-Pro team from the Steelers and Ravens, getting some help from the Bengals, maybe Josh Cribbs or Phil Dawson from Cleveland, and stomp a hole in the All-NFL team.

@emily6895 In the 2008 season (when we won our last Super Bowl), when the schedules came out we had the toughest schedule in the league. Lost to indy by 4, and yeah we lost badly on the road to Tennessee. But we beat the Cowboys, SLAUGHTERED the Pats, beat San Diego twice and Baltimore three times (including playoff wins). Check the facts b4 speaking!!

Though i will not mke up excuses i will say that the nfl must do something to put more incentive for teams so that benching starters will not affect the out come of other teams season. When all is said and done to many stupid coaching decisions cost us a season as well as young players not being able to catch the ball if you play the pats remember just hold on to the ball before you run

Nevermind the big upsets this year. And nevermind the key injuries to our defense this year. Despite ALL of that, we were literally ONE PLAY away from being in this year: Had Limas Sweed not inexplicitly dropped that sure-TD pass in the first game against the Bengals, we win that game, are 10-6 and in.
One play away....despite it all.
More times than not that "one play" goes our way...but that's football.
