  • all thoose words sound pretty fucking normal to me. Get your Kentucky Fried Chicken ass home bitches. ;)

  • who the fuck says ketchup to us that is retarded

  • Wheelie-bins because they are bins with wheels.

Whipper-snipper because the string bit move around, fast, kinda like a whipe and SNIPS the grass off.

Tomato sauce because it is a tomato-flavoured sauce.

Duh. Really, why do they make it so hard?

  • We do say garbage in this country, and trash too

  • Yep we do lol

  • Tomato sauce and ketchup have different ingredients, so technically they're not really the same thing.

  • alrighty then... i'll use a brittish english word.. what are 'wellington's'?

  • @angodamango Gum Boots

  • @pup4944 good work :)

  • @angodamango You occasionally hear that term in Australia, seeing as lots of people have English blood

  • @pup4944 yer, i tend to use that term a lot and im aussie too haha

  • pink girl does naughty things

  • Did he say it is "really" ketchup? As if America is the "real" way of speaking? As if the way we speak is trickery used to piss off Americans.

  • Omg i love torquay its the best beach -3

  • @whoopiewhoopable it really does 'weedwacker' haha im an aussie

  • I'm Aussie and I just call them bins, and i call "weed whackers" or "brush cutters" "whipper snippers".

  • heehee whipper snipper. I thought at first they said whipper snapper (what an old person calls a youngin') haha XD

and I wanna adopt the word wheely bin. It's cute and makes sense! ^_^

  • Ketchup and tomato sauce are indeed similar but they taste different.

  • @pyrusFTSC no ketchup is thicker than tomato sause i think

  • Tomato sauce > Ketchup

  • Australians got call them wheelybings, we call them bins, and i dont hear any of us say those words

  • This is really wierd watching it as an aussie, because all of the words you're laughing at sound normal. Maybe one or two were wrong, but all of others were right.

  • Tomato sauce is Tomato sauce. Ketchup is tomato sauce + vinegar

  • Australia> everything

  • i thought we all say whipper snippers..

  • A 'weed wacker' sounds like some sort of druggo.

  • dude, im Australian and i rarely call em' wheely bins.

  • @ILoveDimitriBelikov3 head to the South then

  • hahaha I love wearing my things to the beach.....

you thought I was talking about undies didn't you...

    ahahaha

  • @katiebabe261995 thongs... not things...

  • @missywinks Lots of those in Penrith, they';re called bongs

  • Lol flip flop reffers to something very different in Australia, I love how I bring silence every time I tell Americans that Australian guys mainly wear thongs at the beach

  • Haha funny thing is i speak Australian words and sue them all the time but i know all of American words from their movies. So im double educated ^^

  • @missywinks Are you serious? An electrically powered grass trimmer with a nylon cutting cord that rotates rapidly on a spindle. Wow. O.o

  • what the fuck my entire language is based on these words lol

  • Yes, we say wheely bins because they have wheels and they are bins

  • I LIVE IN AUSTRALIA

  • I'm Aussie.. I only just learned what ketchup meant about a year ago lol. I always call it tomato sauce.

  • @Mariaelizabethg Ketchup is actually different to Tomato Sauce. (I'm Australian)

  • @wamphyr000 true, we have ketchup & tomatoe sauce, Ketchup is the cheap crappy version,lol...

  • @DavinaFaerie Actually, it's not cheap and it's not crappy. If anything, it costs more than tomato sauce. There's no difference in taste, either, really. In fact, neither of them taste much like tomatoes! lol Not sure why we Aussies call it tomato sauce and not it's original name of ketchup. Tomato sauce in Europe is what we call pasta sauce here. Weird.

  • a TRUE Aussie.. Calls Mc Donalds.. Maccas! :) Lol

  • @teaze2pleaze I was brought up calling it rotten ronnies..

  • @teaze2pleaze lol no

Ok it's a rubbish bin, Wheely bin or bin get it right!!! And there whipper snippers u dumb ass Americans!!!!!!!! THAT IS SERIOUSLY STUPID WEED WHACKERS!!!

imagine that I'm just goin down to buntings to buy some weed WHACKERS !!!! Hahahahahah lol :P

  • fuken stupid yank bitches

  • It's Wheely-Bins!

  • lm australian/korean and i find this offensive

  • "Whipper Snipper" was the first brand of line trimmers available in Australia, so the name stuck. :-) At least it sounds better than "Weed Whacker". lol ;-)

We don't call "Ketchup" "Tomato Sauce". They're different. Tomato ketchup must have tomatoes in it, but tomato sauce doesn't (legally) have to contain tomatoes. -Crazy, I know.

Some people call council collection bins "Wheelie Bins" because they have wheels on them, but most people just call them "Bins". :-)

  • Hmm.. We call the ones with wheels 'wheelie bin's and it's a problem. WTF?

'Weed Whacker' is JUST as bad as 'Whipper Snipper'

Tomatoes are the main ingrediant in ketchup and we call it Tomato *thats to-mar-toe* Sauce..

We don't call it RUBBISH it's rubbish.

    Get it right Americans.

  • I feel sprry for the americans who know about things outside their counrty cause they have to put up with the ignorant americancentric douchebags

  • we just call them bins.

  • being Australian you jump around with the kangaroos. -.-

    stereo type, much?

i guess thats what u americans think

  • i hate how much country hate there is. sure america is flawed but you all cant honestly stereotype us the same way? yes there are some people i know that are just arrogant and rude and trying to reason with them is pointless but I mean honestly, you cant blame us all for the attitude of a few. my friend says you guys have just as much there trying to sound american as we do here trying to sound australian. Its cute how he tries to make everything sound like hes from texas though C: haha

  • so would wheelie bin be an american equivalence of the wheelbarrow? and i think its adorable fighting over skype with my friend tyrone about if shoes are runners or sneakers C: ah, i love the way where u live changes things so much!! how about u just take the time instead of talking to people like they r dumb from other countries and u just see that just cos wat they say is wrong in ur culture it could be right in yours. if i couldnt speak English, i would think most things we say are odd

  • r u making fun of us!?!?!?!?!?

  • your jelly is our jam,A,ND OUR JELLY IS YOUR GELLO,,YOU CALL A GSTRING A THONG AND OUR THONGS ARE YOUR FLIP FLOPS.LOL.

  • why r thosse people acting like retards ( im aussie)

  • I'm australian and have never used most of those words? I call a Bin a Bin, I only say wheelie bin if its a wheeled bin,

as for Tomato sauce, that's the actual name - Ketchup is the American Varient

  • theyre every day words i use. how is it funny?

  • @smileyfaces121 lol, same here.

  • Theres funny words in america two, and thats normal for us to say them words. I recon that kechup is a stupid name

  • @hardstyleking92 just say sauce, thats wat us auzzies say.

  • I got Wheelie Bins, Whipper Snipper, Rubbish and Tomato Sauce.

  • Weefa sneefa

  • I bin on holidays, true ? where you wheelie bin ?Ah ok got done knocking some stuff off and ended up doing a stint inside.

  • ketchup is different from tomato sauce, actually.

  • I don't get what's so funny for these guys. Sure, If I see some dude from another culture/place named wang I'll lol because of what that means in my own language (mental lol, for the sake of respect I won't lol outloud), but what's so funny about calling a bin with wheels a wheelie bin?

  • lol she's like is that filmin an he turned it off

  • Those chicks are mega bogans

  • "They call it tomato sauce, but it's really ketchup".

Yeah because there is only one real name for it, and that's

what Americans decide it is. Fuck up cunt

  • we have so many slang words that its another language in itself.

  • I'm going to Australia in 2 months and I'm going to show at least a couple Australians that all Americans are NOT rude, loud, arrogant, ignorant, lazy, and fat. *sigh*

  • @Nicole3900

The KFC tastes better in australia....

  • @Nicole3900 We know your NOT rude, loud, fat, lazy, arrogant or ingorant. we love Americans over here. what part of Australia are you coming to?

  • @seddiefan4ever New South Wales :D

  • @Nicole3900 Awesome :) i live in Queensland

  • @seddiefan4ever Cool! Have you been to NSW? I'm going to Sydney, as well as visiting my Australian friend (I'm staying with her and her family during my trip). I'm so excited!!! :D

  • @Nicole3900 no i haven't been to NSW, i haven't even been out of QLD. but im probably going to NSW in winter (over here) by train for a little bit with my mum and dad, i never i have seen snow before except for ice rinks so yeah

  • @seddiefan4ever Ya, I'll be going during your winter break, and my summer break. You definitely have to see snow!!! It's wonderful! I love it. I've been to Italy (beautiful country) and Mexico. Plus many states in the USA, of course. I'm so excited about going to Australia! Everybody at school is always saying how they either 1) Love the Australian accent, 2) Want to go to Australia, or 3) Want to marry an Australian. lol I agree with all. I wish I had an Australian accent!

  • @Nicole3900 haha i wanna see snow SOOOOOO BADLY!. what state of America do you come from? awwww thats so awesome, well there are people who live in the bush, they have the really strong Aussie accent, then there are people like me who live in the city-like parts of Australia who just have a weak accent! oh and how old are you?

  • @seddiefan4ever Some day you definitely have to see snow! I just have the general standard American accent. Boring! I've lived in Florida (very similar to Australia; doesn't snow there), New England (term for the North-Eastern states like New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, etc.), and now I'm about an hour from Washington, DC. I'm a teenager :) And you?

  • @Nicole3900 wow! you have been sooo many places! nahhh all american accents are awesome! im a teenager as well!

  • @seddiefan4ever thanks, Australian accents are awesome too! I go to Australia in 11 days (June 22nd)!!! Can't wait!! It'll be nice to switch seasons too since it's soooo hot here for summer, I can't wait to switch to winter when I get off the plane. By the way sorry I took so long to reply, your comment mustn't have showed up in my comment box thing. :O

  • @Nicole3900 haha its k, just it is snowing now so it is really cold!

  • @Nicole3900 lol and we'll show u that we are not all redneck, uneducated, kangaroo riding bogans

  • @jakahler yes you well! lol although I already know you're not :P I'm going in 11 days (June 22nd). Can't wait!! :D

  • @Nicole3900 where to? I'm in Brisbane XD

  • @jakahler Sydney, NSW :)

  • @Nicole3900 ahaha have fun :)

  • @Nicole3900

    Good on you!

As a matter of fact, I actually find Australians way more arrogant, lazy and narrow-minded than Americans :)

  • @nobodygetsmyusername Really? I'm surprised. & Thanks so much!! :)

  • @Nicole3900 lol well don't stress too hard, cause as you may have already discovered, a lot of us Aussies are! XD

  • tomato sauce is better 4 u then ketchup

  • As an American, I have to admit, yes we are arrogant douchebags... but you have to undersatnd that we're from a country where, the minut we walk into school, tell us that the U.S is the best country in the history of time, and therefore everyone else is lame.. however by the time we rach high school or college, we realize that isn't the case, and start to wish we were English or Australian (at least my friends do), but we are predispositioned to be douches

  • @TBSammy182SxE that is actually a really good point. Good on you for mentioning that. I went to the States as an exchange student and found that (no offence), but, everyone was so self-absorbed and biased towards America and if it had nothing to do with them, they were clueless or had no interest in finding out.

I'm not generalising and assuming ALL Americans are like that, but I sure am glad that people like you are at least trying to find out what the rest of the world is up to :)

  • @TBSammy182SxE A good point, and bravely put.

  • @TBSammy182SxE agree im Australian but went to America and noticed that

  • @TBSammy182SxE i agree, and you can get from the arragance by just opening your mind..your so honest,,to say this : )

  • @TBSammy182SxE WOW that is close to the dumbest comment I have ever seen. Americans are more German than English and damn sure not Australians ( fine people by the way). We are in fact the greatest country by nearly every measurable standard. And you are a great fool. Try reading a book before you spout such inaccuracy's.

  • @NOMADdaf Every measurable standard, America has the highest debt the world, highest rate of crime and murder, the worlds largest prison population and the general population feels they have a right to "bear arms" but not a right to free healthcare.

  • @TBSammy182SxE wow, you are truly an honest and genuine bloke, i wish there were more people like you... and ignore Bleakism, he has a severe case of self pride, but he will learn to grow up someday

  • @TBSammy182SxE Shoot.. I wish I was in Australia before I finish high school. About a month after I finish high school, in 2008 that my parents had a chance to move to Australia when i was little. It kind of hurt a bit when my mom told me... :-/

  • LOL!! good to see america is on the case! Absolute losers. We should beat these fuckers until "ketchup" is pouring out of their bodies, chuck em into a wheelie bin... open the lid a few days later and whipper snipper them to death... that's just my opinion..

  • @FullySikh86 whipper snapper

  • A wheelie bin by any other name would smell as sweet... William Shakespear

  • Where's ya bin?

    I bin at work, mate.

Nah, oi, where's ya wheely bin?

Well I wheely bin up the pub eh, but don't tell me misses.

  • Ketchup is completely different to Tomato Sauce. Different things.

    lol @ pesto

  • We hardlt ever say these things and the australian people who do are usauly old

  • Weed Wacka sounds like a stoned idiot.

  • We have a wheelie bin out in back garden here in Scotland and my Mum has one in Ireland . A bin with wheels on!! what else would you call it but a wheelie bin ? As for tomato sauce ,Heinz is best .. :)

  • @sailingwest nah Rosella is better bu sometimes HP just goes better on certain things

  • Dude, this is kind of extremely offensive for us Australians.... >.<

  • @maesar95 totally agree > .>

  • @maesar95 Really? I'm Australian myself, but I can see why they would find these words odd and come off it. It's just a bit of benign light hearted banter.. Get over it princess...

  • @f0reverdirt Dude, I ain't no princess.

Americans just shit me. It's not like we make fun of THEM for saying different words.

  • "Flip-flops" are "thongs" where I come from - and if you're from New Zealand, they're "jandals, eh bro?"

  • possibly the most pathetic video ever made, and im going to favourite it for ironic purposes.

  • comparing 2 minute noodles to pesto?

  • sick nut cases, not even a single word is really mainstream Australian. dunno why these make such bull--

  • I love the Australian accent. Meowwwwww =D When I visit I'll have to remember to say tomato sauce... and it's not a trunk - it's a boot!...love it!!!

  • Wow, i'm australian...

and these chicks have no clue, what 'aussie words' are.

  • I got the funniest looks when I was shopping in america and was asking where I could find a new pair of thongs, lol, learnt to say flip flops pretty fast. Another one was jumper, in america it's a kind of dress, so you could imagine the look I got when I told two little boys to put their jumpers on.

  • Comment removed

  • Aye rubbish bins we call them. Also tomato sauce has maybe 0.001 tomato in it so naturally we call it what it IS

  • @FarseerOfPouiln riiiight...just like you call the trunk of a car a boot. cause that's what it IS? a boot? lol
