I may be making a drive like that on a daily basis if I get into MSU's Earth Sciences Masters program. My girfriend's applying to University of Montana in Missoula so we figured we'd live somewhere in the middle like Butte or Helena. Not looking forward to a 3 hour daily commute, especially during winter...

Awesome video... I made that drive a couple times last summer, as I have relatives in both Bozeman and Missoula. The best part is the drive through the Beaverhead-Deer Lodge National Forest by Butte. On a similar note, I made a trip from Many Glacier to Bozeman going 89/287/90 in under 5 hours, going at about the same speed as the video... I was told it was a new state record.

Proof:

(2.5h*60min/h*60s/min = 9000s)
