  • Thank you SO MUCH for these inspirational and educational videos. I have been shooting traditional archery for 2.5 months now and I have yet to really put time into using a thumb release. I have a Kassai "Hunter" at #50 of draw weight and can pull it without stress using my fingers - however, using the thumb-ring is quite a challenge. Your videos have clearly pointed me in the right direction! Thanks again!

  • Thank you a lot,Stephen. impressive videos!

  • Very Nice Video you made, will be cool if u dress Chinese Traditional Warrior CLothing on a horse on Video...

  • do you ride and shoot or just shoot

  • muy bien explicado ..gracias !!!

  • SkandranonOwens: Didn't hear anything... Do you mean my little speech at the end?

  • sounds like a kettle is going off in the summary.

  • thanks You !!!!

please explain why we should move the air from chest to stomach when stringing?

Is it nessesry to stabilizing the body?

  • @KNIBDUL79 Sorry for the delay in replying: having the air in the bottom of the lung cavity still allows transpiration of oxygen while not causing tension with the muscles used in the draw.

  • thank you so much Stephen. I read your wonderful book now for the 2. time, its great. and to see you doing archery is the perfect way to understand clearly. what is better to empty your mind than doing perfect archery?

  • serindia: I have taken the original videos to China. They will be translated and placed on a website where Chinese people can view it - not YouTube.

  • I am think whether it is possible to give a Chinese translating subtitle for your video. Hence, more and more Chinese fans will practice. After all, it is Chinese archery ;)

  • saw you on TIME. I'm planning to book a free lesson if ever im in HK
