Although I think he still looks very good (he is in his early 50's now), he looked absolutely beautiful in this movie. This movie is more than twenty years old and people age. (except maybe for Susan Sarandon;) ). Beautiful, moving story and these two had great chemistry together,

It's questionable what his politics are now. I think he's fairly moderate to conservative, becoming so as he got older. His last contribution to the DNC was in 1992 and that was a whopping $300. His role as Alan Shore and numerous appearance on the View were obviously convincing. If he were a bleeding heart he wouldn't be in the same room with Glenn Beck whom he did an interview for in 2006.

White Palace is one of my all-time favorite films...Spader and Sarandon were wonderful together! Could any male be more beautiful than James Spader was in this movie??? Personally I think it would be impossible. He was like an Adonis when he was 30 years old. Having seen him recently on Broadway in RACE I can say that he is still very handsome and extremely nice in person and as always....incredibly talented.

You'll never believed what happened in November! I MET HIM!!! He is starring in that Broadway play race, and I met him after he came out the stage door! He has lost a lot of weight, and looks only about 39 years old. He is SO good looking, and nice!!! We brushed hands when I gave him a pen to sign his autograph, and I touched his shoulder blade and leaned in for a photo! He is very nice to his fans!
