Chitragupt Srivastav was never considered a composer par with the big names of that time. However his songs were melodious and sweet. He always repeated the orchestra and tunes but still the songs were so sweet. This song is an example of sweetness. He surely had some material that is why all top singers like Lata, Rafi, Manna Day sang for him. Shakila and Ajit appear in love really. I simply love this song.
