@Thesteeke No, The only teams we played from NC are the Raleigh Wildcats, Richmond Rockies and the Carolina Copperheads. From SC we played the CAROLINA ASTROS, Columbia Heat, Team Express, Carolina Sox, ST. ANDREWS BEAST, USSSA TEAM SC NATIONAL and USSSA TEAM SC AMERICAN.
Jason, I'm just wondering but just turned 14 in September and I got clocked at 76(fastest pitch) and 73-74 average for my fastball. But people I play with throw harder then me and I pitched against my old team and my friend told me I was harder to hit the people throwing 76-78 because my fastball has the "Greg maddux" movement. But I was just wondering if you have any tips to throw a little faster?
@Thesteeke The absolute best way to increase speed is to get on a structured long toss program early in the year. Make sure you have a plan just don't go out and long toss. Check out Jaeger Sports.
@ingosnow25 Kinda, my dad has me stretch out to 300' If you haven't done this, throw to your max distance that keeps you relaxed. Don't go crazy. If your only throwing 200' you'll work up to longer distances, don't be in a hurry. Then I come back in to 150' then 140' then 130 all the way down to 70' for 1 throw each. Then I throw off the mound to finish. Total throwing time 20 minutes with 5 or 6 throws at max distance and 3 or 4 minutes off the mound. 3 times a week and I do the exercises first
@ingosnow25 I went to a jaegar camp a few weeks ago, I've been trying out the long toss program, and I'm close to 300'. Were your abs really sore the day after the first of long tossing?
@Thesteeke Low 80's. The kid has a outstanding breaking ball. Check out part 2 of the USSSA Fall Nationals (Wood/BBCOR) from the start and you'll see how good his breaking ball is. He uses his defense and really doesn't go to the breaking ball with a big lead. Check out part 2.
@DylanWallaceofficial Have you ever seen Roger Clemens in Houston. I know he's from there. I got to meet him and throw with him years ago in New york. I'm a big fan of the Rocket.

@smackdaddyjones You should get on a good team that's trying to make it to the Elite 32 in Florida. That's the best tournament every year.

@JasonKnine Did you go to a camp? If so, did you get a chance to see china mccarney pitch?

@ingosnow25 No camps yet. China looks like the real deal. Have you seen him pitch?
JasonKnine 3 months ago
@JasonKnine Yeah I did the chance to see him throw. He throws very very hard, but from everything I can find it, looks like he's out of baseball.

@ingosnow25 I figured he was a definite. If you find out why he's out, let me know. Wow.
