I have gained secret information from publisher, that there will be also fifth book, and at the end Eragorn will realise, that he is not the son of Murzan, nor Brom, but son of Galbatorix. They will join in joy and finally Eragorn will enslave Arya with her true name and rape her every day. Wow, that was really unexpected :)

Yep :) At first everyone and even Christopher Paolini thought it would be only 3 books(and it's even called Eragon's Trilogy). If u go to eragon's website u can see that christopher couldn't write the end of the story in only 3 books so he made up a forth :)

God he stole most of his ideas from true fantasy, read the oldies, Earthsea, LOTR, Brooks and than you'll see this isn't anything special. Better yet read some real books! Like 1984, Of Mice and Men, Life of Pi. Try some poetry even! Yeats, Bishop or what about drama?? Brian Friel is amazing! Please try one of these than re-read and you'l see it isn't amazing like some people think.

I'm saying it's not very smart at all, that it's simply pop-fiction. Appeals to evryone because it questions nothing in life and challenges none of our ideals, it's a pool side book, nothing more. It's well enough written and fun but it's not a great novel. I can think of worse easily but this isn't something of note.

He's extraordinarily patronizing. As for the length of any given book, perhaps it is the quality of the writing rather than the number of pages that should be called into question. I would much rather read 500 well written pages than 1000 poorly written ones. As much as I love this story, it could easily be told as well in half the number of pages that he intends to use.

Ive read and reread eragon and eldest at least 6 times each by now im anxiously awiating the rest of the series. they are by far the best fantasy medieval kind of books ever. (although ive never read lord of the rings).

Even in Eldest we know he doesnt have enough time, what I predict will happen is that Galbatorix will kill him using Murtagh as his puppet, atleast if i was Paolini that's what i would do, but then again I am sure i am not the only one to who had thought of that

Eragon meets a god in Brisngr my money is on the dwarf god of fire Morogthil.

1. Eragon is suppose to learn a deeper meaning to Brisngr (many ppl believes its his true name, though i am not one of those people, but its makes sense) who better to teach him then the lord of fire himself

2. Morgothil and his brother created the dragons, so they would no doubt appear to him in dragonform (cus a dragon god is just darn right cool)

and the death will no doubt be Oromis and Glaedr
