Much as I love rogue traders - their remake of INXS's "One of my kind" was particularly good - I really don't think they should have messed around with this one. In this case the orriginal was way way better.

unlike I NEED YOU TONIGHT & ONE OF MY KIND which both share a dance element, MY SHARONA & WATCHING YOU fall under a completely different style of music so theyre not really comparable

plus its only the riff of MY SHARONA that they've sampled into WATCHING YOU; the lyrics and overall theme are all new so its a whole new song as oppose to ONE OF MY KIND which is just a remixed, revamped version of I NEED YOU TONIGHT

Actually I have kind of come to apreciate this song a little more now, and I agree it's by no means similar to its obvious progenitor but I do kind of wish they'd found a way to do it without re-using that particular riff (even though it sounds great).
