hey how do u think the new serato would work with a ttm54?

@allanxpoe83 The TTM-54 is still a sick mixer. You may just need to clean the fader or buy a replacement from time to time. The best mixer is going to be that new Vestax 05 Pro IV. Check it out.

thats dope how did u learn? im 18 and i been trying to cut like that for some months now i just cant do it.... i mean i can mix songs well and do the basic scratch but i just cant do all those flares and crabs n shit lol do u start like reaaaally slow and then speed it up as u get better or do u just master the technique in fast mode from the beginning and practise a lot?

I really don't play out, so I don't miss lugging crates, but not having to turn around and reach for record every time is awesome. Let's me be more creative to by recording my voice or tv shows to cut to. Serato is definitely a godsend.

That is just a break record I had recorded into Serato from regular vinyl. If you need some scratch samples, I know that Dj Swamp and Super Duck Breaks is out on CD if you want them digital. I personally prefer the sound of the recorded samples off of vinyl rather than the too pristine sound of digital.

What up Scratch Dog! I had he SL-1 for 8 days before the

SL-3 came out and I have to say the SL-3 sounds quite a bit better,

I'd say both. The output is louder. The slower scratches sound more realistic, and as you can tell in my other videos, the ability to record into Serato itself is great. SL-3 is well worth it. Plus people don't realize it already comes with a carry case and power supply which is probably worth about $50-60 bought separately. Which makes the cost difference a little easier to bear.
