This is the same tune as on that fab You-tube clip of a very early sound short featuring a dance band. Might have been Ben Bernie's band but my memory isn't that good :-)

Yes, it was indeed Ben Bernie's Orchestra in a 1925 Lee DeForest phonofilm.
Both Bernie's and Reser's renditions are very good.
