Do not underestimate modern France, in WWI they fought extremely well and in WWII they were outmatched by the Germans as were the BEF, the Soviets, the Poles, the Yougoslavs, Greeks and Norwegians.

Not sure how they would perform in today's world but their past actions command respect.

If your idea of the Napoleonic Wars is just the Peninsula war, then you really need to break out the books and start some intense reading, because it seems to me you don't have much of an idea of history.

The thing is that most of their campaigns ultmatly lead to a defeat.. it took the world SIX coalation armies to defeat Napoleon though, which says alot of how mighty France was and what a mastermind Napoleon was. :)

depends, Age 3 was really good, but the campaign is more focused on the new world rather then Europe, but if you want a massive European conflict and fighting massive hordes of people until your pc melts then go for this, but i liked Age 3 more i just wish it could have been more focused on Europe like before...
