WARNING : That's why you won't find Chinese cars in the us, like the Chinese Cherry we saw 1 in the Panama News that was crushed like a coke can when it hit another Toyota Terrcel.
HT,what about one of those Hot dog/juice carts that have a motorcycle with the front wheel off mounted to It,I know youve had to of seen one by now,Yeah?
I saw a group of 3 wheelers today, trikes however, one was homebuilt, it looked dodgy as and had the gear stick between the knees of the driver. Would be a strange machine to ride
I have been thinking about buying a Spider. I asked a rider about his while he was fixing a over heating problem on his Spider. He said, There are O.K. But, the rear seat is to small for his wife to ride on it for long. So, his was broke down and was not comfortable to ride.
@MyYogiB I'm sure there are nicer aftermarket seats, don't know about the break down problems. But these are a good option for people with hip and knee problems that could get into trouble on a 2 wheeled bike.
@hawaiisidecar They say more people in China speak English than in the U.S. But a lot of the stuff they try to market to Americas has the worst names ever.
The backwards tricycle...bringing a flaccid motorcycling experience to drunk people everywhere... ...we have those in the states too...but they are pink, have a corvette body on them and say barbie on the side.....I'm really surprised that thing had a automatic, I figured it would at least have turtle and rabbit shift....Nice review Ryan ( I would've reviewed it too =)...but in the words of Butthead the wise "You can't polish a turd Beavis"
Looks fairly good but it doesn't half make a racket (noise) HT. Love the look of the CanAm but I think I'll stick to two wheels. Great video as always. Ride safe :D
Can-Am is rumored to be working on a leaning 3 wheeler. If I ever did 3 wheels, I'd do the Can-Am design with the 2 wheels up front - more traction for turning and stopping.
Chinese motor-vehicle manufacturers are still in the stone age. They're designed to be cheaper to purchase, but its false economy. You'll spend more to keep them running and they're harder to work on. Getting parts can also be challenging. So, no Chinese built bikes for me. Maybe in 10 years, but not now.
@dahveed284 Brudeli/KTM made a leaning one called the leanster it looks like it would be fun. I can see the apeal of these non leaning 3wheelers for people that want to go ride with friends or spouce but don't want the fear of falling over. To me though they seam like it would be scarryer then a bike. Talking to people it sounds like they take some getting used to for bikers.
@dahveed284 I've seen Chinese scooters brand new from the factory with parts that need to be replaced. And you are right it's impossible to find them.
@halfthrottle M13 was bad mouthing the Chinese scooters and he's a lot closer to the source of the parts than you or I. Its actually sort of nice to be able to go buy something and NOT have it made it China these days.
I got the chance to try my first three wheeled bike when I went on leave. It was a Ural Patrol T. It's a complete mind F to drive, since it always pulls to either the left or the right, depending on what you are doing with the throttle. Gotta say, I loved it though.
I think I would take a hack over one of those style, simply for the fun of flying the chair, which is nowhere near as scary and dangerous as it looks, once you understand the physics. I, too, vote for an off road test of this bike.
i can see why someone would think they would want one if there scared of a 2 wheeled bike. but in my opinion i think there more dangerous then a conventional motorcycle. if you get in a bad situation with a car and you get hit its over. but on a real bike in the same situation you are more likely to get out of it by getting between cars or just speeding up and getting the hell out of there. good review id like to see more.
@cjhurrell Yeah it's always fun to test ride bikes, I love visiting different dealerships when they have big test ride days. Free riding, and usually free food all day.
Ok nice review, but I just dont get it. Why would anyone want one of these? They aren't cheap and they aren't as stable a quad (not that quads are stable) or a regular motorbike. So what's the selling point? Who would want it and why?
@yahoodlums Can-am seems to be doing okay. I think there are a lot of people out there who want to ride a motorcycle but are maybe a bit to old to worry about something on 2 wheels falling over on them.
Looks cool but not for me , like the two wheels..... New about the Can-am but never new there was a Chinese copy of it. Here you see the Piaggio MP3 a lot , how about there ...is there a Chinese copy of that too
I'm not sure of the list or specs of this model? But appears to look only half the price at best. It could prob. stand an alignment and steering dampner.
Just can get my head around riding a snow machine (snowmobile) around with wheels on it, but I give me a giggle every time I see one on the road so for that they..in a strange way.. make my day
I dont get the 3 wheel thing, it looks weird, and as you said it drives weird. The one thing is maybe the dealer didn't set up the alignment correctly when they put it together?
Blatant rip off of the Canam Spyder.

It sounds terrible. It looks slow. And the built quality i suspect, is no better.
I'd like it if you'd review a classical old panamanian moped :D
No gears, no beltdrive. Just a plain slow old sketchy moped :D
best regards, scandinavia.
