  • *ironie*

  • @Creamshaker Ich bin aber stolz drauf! :'(

  • ok...many many redstone...an euphoric lets go...this must be a superelevator....

then I saw you getting 3 blocks higher with a clickclickclick...woooow^^

  • I tried that and it failed it wouldn't pull other pistons down

  • @Icekiller20 Did you use sticky pistons?

  • nice it will be bad if something goes wrong SSSSSSSsssssssssssSSSSSSSSSSSS

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM

  • I dont understand why its so big, i can make it much smaller :-D(yes im just bragging)

  • There is too many redstone :O

  • @TheDrums33 Indeed there is. :s

  • @TheDrums33 Too MANY redstone?

  • how come each time i do that the pistons float and not come back down and im using sticky pisons?

  • coool

  • i have a 6 piston elevator and can easily expand, PM if you want mediafire download or me to make a vid

  • man you went crazy w/ the ciruting lol. i could do all of that w/ half the circuiting :P

  • how did you make the third sticky piston go down too? when my 1st one pulls the 2nd, it doesnt pull the 3rd

  • Whoa, I built something exactly like this, 3 pistons elevator, but my redstone is a bit more compact, and uses a button, not a lever

  • @New023 Yup, just watch the video. Sticky pistons always just pull one block, even if that block is a sticky piston.

In order to get the elevator to get both of the pistons down again, you need to do it like this:

Top piston runs in, middle piston runs in, bottom piston runs in, middle piston runs out and runs in.

  • Nice one. By the way, how do you get plain world with only grass?

  • Hi,

I also built an elevator, which is using quite the same technique, but with 4 pistons.

Maybe you are interested in watching: /watch?v=-vmGerbYcJ8

I've sent you a request for a video reply.

    Thanks

    Elfingordspielt

  • @ElfingordSpielt Ah, verdammt. :D

Ja, du hast mich wohl überboten. Schöner Aufzug, bin schon gespannt auf das Tutorial.

Hoffentlich hast du das auch ein wenig platzsparender als ich hinbekommen.

    Oh, damn.

I think you beat me. Nice elevator you got there, I'm curious about the tutorial.

    Hopefully you'll upload it soon.

Let's see if you managed to build that thing smaller than I did. :P

  • @fabse64 I actually didn't focus on the needed space as we were focussing on the functionnality. I certainly could be smaller and built in a more elegant way. It's working fine though, despite those quite buggy sticky pistons.

A lot of credits to you, great job on that lift!

  • Could you make a tutorial and is it possible to make it go up further? lets say? 25 blocks? :3

  • @TheAdamena i think i could make it go up to any height but i dont think i could make it come back down lol.

  • @tim154154 One elevator can make you go up at most 12 blocks, since that's the most amount of blocks a piston can push.

Making an elevator with this design go upwards is kind of easy, making it go down properly is the hard part.

There's other designs which are way faster, more compact and easier to build out there.

I've also got more experience using pistons lately, since I've been trying around with them for a while now.

Maybe I'll upload another piston invention in some days.

  • @tim154154 Well you could do the 2 button memory toggle thing

  • dude u should make a tutorial for this... its awsome!

  • looks really space consuming. can you try to make one where it takes up less space, so i can use it in my house? :D

  • Haiyyu, I'm proud of you :P

  • @AwesomeDefuse No problem. =)

  • @iDreadgion I don't know why you have removed your comment, but I still read it in time.

  • Thanks for your feedback.

15 likes and more than 500 views in only 18 hours, now that's awesome! :D

  • How did I not think of that

  • Wonderful use of elevators! Maybe you can make the wiring a bit more compact. :P

  • Nice work getting it to reset too! =)

  • great elevator. also the tags made ma laugh.

  • ur just awesome. Wollte mich mal den anderen anschließen. :D

  • You're awesome!

  • ur my master !
