I spent the weekend training with Terry and I am telling you, he is really scary. All the technics worked 100%. It's all about inflicting pain as quickly as possible, it is why everybody goes down so quickly. every time he tuches you it's so painfull. I don't think I ever felled so much pain in my life. So if you are interested in thess kind of things go to one of his seminar, he is a very sound guy, and if you have any doupts, let him know he'll show you,and you won't ask twice.-
@nicosicot i could not agree more mate, I go to his seminars every time he manages to make it to Scotland.
so only those people like us know how real his techniques and jutsu are, ive never seen such an amazing martial artist in my life. he just was awared his 9th Dan too making him the only person foreign to Japan to ever be awarded that honor in the entire history of martial arts
All the scepticism doesn't surprise me. It scares me too that a 68 year old man can hurt me or take me down so easily and quickly.
I was at a seminar of his on friday (for the first time). It was at my uni and he talked a lot about openmindedness and the sceptics. He doesn't seem too worried about the people who don't believe in what he does, it's only the sceptics who seem to be squirming to me.
I understand how nervous it must make you, but going on a youtube video and spouting vicious claims doesn't seem like a particularly respectful or reasonable way to react to it.
The ones at the session who doubted what the man does felt for themselves the pain, because for most it's the only way to understand.
It's a shame this man has so much opposition because I can see he has a lot to teach the world before he passes away.
Being a sceptic is important especialy in martial arts. You need to see things for yourself before you decide. If you believed everything you saw in a video then we would all be doing yellow bamboo right now :)
You are So Right S0ondbite. Most Of these 'Masters' look Fantastic against their pupils who are co-operating 100% but when things are real & somebody is really attacking these Kooks, they turn out to be Bull-Shido!
I did not think there was THAT much ignorance in this world. But, you know what? It's a good thing! All the people who doubt will be taken by surprise because of their ignorance. I guess all those who say that "it" doesn't work, have spent years training in it and practicing against "resisting opponents". Isn't that the only way you can make that decision for the rest of the world???
I was on a seminar with Terry yesterday, and i assure you what he teaches works.if you dont believe it then go and train with him.he trains all over the world so it wouldnt be hard to get on one of his courses.why dont you shake his hand
That big bad candy cane belt as you put it will happily knock out MMA guy who wants to have a go and having got to know him a bit he will proberily enjoy it.
Trust me what you see on here or on other clips of Wingrove sensei is the tip of the iceberg,he is very much the real deal
Shame your in the USA if you are coming over to England you can have a go with him yourself
And also that lowly white belt is one hard polish bastard! same for the Polish Danzen ryu guys!
That is fine your free to believe or not believe in what you want, But it does not take away what outstanding abilities he has,
Unfortunately it is mostly Americans that have been exposed to the likes of George Dillman who think Wingrove sensei is the same and so tar with the same brush,
i live in london and just started training in his class he's the only legend left in uk he is now 68 year's old but i tell u he is the best i seen he will kill u with just 1 strike 2 ur presser point or rip tendon's or break ur bone's he's trained with steven seagal when he was younger and hes got 9th dan in jijtsu,i think 7th dan akido,7th dan judo i think or near and karate 7th dan or near and he started with @ the age of 12 in japan
i think u should upload a vid of U fighting showin UR skills to the world ..... .. .. or go to one of his classes or seminars and tell him what u thionk of him .... ill have the wooden box ready for ya
Most people will struggle getting these techniques to work not because they are bad techniques but they have not got the necessary skills and knowledge to apply them
and so people like your self just say nothing he teaches works
But they all work very well but it takes deep knowledge and highly developed skills to apply the techniques Wingrove sensei teaches which he has and demonstrates very well to everyone he teaches
pressure point strikes do not work in real fights unless youre talking about heavy impact.1 tech he showed really made me laugh where 2 brainwashed idiots held him down while he proceeded to perform some ridiculous technique and the halfwits just rolled off him duely chastised.Typical oriental rubbish.

I stand corrected....but i still think this vid is hyped up.
kree1125 3 years ago
Yeah, in a way you're right hosie27. anybody can knock you out if you just stand there, arms down. try it on someone who's moving & fighting back.
mxmissle2 2 years ago
full on fighting is his speciality normally he does things slow and simple to show certain things
When someone doubts his abilities he will demonstrate on anyone who wants to test him for real,
Im not that stupid, a few very serious people have tried and all have failed,
having trained with him several times I know not to mess with him! you are very welcome to try :)
hosie27 2 years ago
I don't belive it.
