I am 57 and have had type 1 since 22. I run low occassionally and my new wife gets mad, like i do it on purpose. I do a lot of yard work and when I run low I get extremely confused, sweat even more, have weird eye sight. When I'm running low and she asked me a question I cannot answer right away, she gets pissed and has even threated to divorce me and get in the car and leave because she doesn't want to deal with it.

And watch your food before bed! Avoid night time hypos at all cost! Google "dead in bed" to see how important it is that we avoid hypos in our sleep.

Great video. Ive had type 1 for 30 years. Yes it sucks at times and yes, hypos are horrible. But it's a manageable condition if you look after yourself and check blood sugar levels frequently (I do this about 8 times a day). I'm fine with no complications :)

well 2 months ago i am hypo right at the minite and am also dislaticsick so my spelling is like a 5 year olds and i just realised that your commint is 6 months old i am 16 if u wanted to no and i am type 1

I know how it feels cos I have diabetes 1. Hypos piss me off big time. Only thing I think helps from my experience it eat or drink anything that contains glucos

very good video. I personally feel drunk and can lash out at anything, but i have only been in a coma once, because the chocolate was too fatty and didnt kick in quick enough. After about a hour i awoke on my floor in a puddle of sweat!

I am type 1, at work I have chocolate and sugar drinks in the fridge incase I need them....some one drank and ait them, I wrote on the white board how seriouse it is and what could happen, what did happen? they made jokes and took the fucking piss out of it. People dont know or dont care, it is very fucking seirious, it upsets me that these are supposed to be work mates and they dont give a fuck, fuck the lot of them.

i am 15 and i have type 1..........it may seem weird but i kinda like the feeling of going low, i sorta feel free like im on a cloud and i forget everything important and i love getting super hungry and eating everything insight and im not even on the pump............diabetes doesnt really bother me.........i take 4 needles a day(big whup)

Ive got a friend who suffers gravely with 'hypos'. Once we were half way up old dungeon gyhll, (yeah, in the lake district, near fallen tree ridge) and he had a attack. Was scary stuff.

gee that video ..makes it look like a cake walk. servere confusion is the first thing i notice..(not) doing the thing i should have done.)as running to the kitchen (3) times..and realizing somethings wrong. confusion. check your blood...bam you got the answer. i have had so many close calls ..it pisses me off. i am a very angry man..i believe because of having to deal with more then i can handle. if your rich..your lucky..if not well just deal with it. and thats what i do every day for18years

my daughter is 5 and is a type 1 diabetic, i can only imagine what its feel like for her when i look into her eyes when she is having a HYPO and i see her looking at me with those beutiful eyes rolling back like she wants to fall asleep as we are shoving jelly beans in her mouth.... thx for the illustration :)

I know how it feels man I'm only 14 and I have diabetes and I've had like so many lows and I've gone into coma too for being really high in blood sugar and when I have a hypo I can't even see things I barely understand what im saying and what im looking at and after the hypo is over my body feels so stressed and I feel very tired and stuff...
