i saw andre today and he is not doing well. he has cancer and is on the streets. this morning he woke up to find his shoes and glasses stolen so he is nearly blind. if you can, please make a point of stopping by his usual haunts at granville and dunsmuir or the steamwhistle in gastown to share some love and maybe some money. he really needs both badly right now. he is in desperate need of a home. if you have even a garage, it's better than sick in the streets.

Andre, I met you at Kitts beach 8 years ago. It was a low low time for me, at the end of a troubled relationship, and I was broken. I sat with you, and you played and talked, and I think you saved my life!
I am soooo so glad you are here. I am so grateful for your heart and your music. Love to you brother.
