This track and the rest of the Protege EP is some of the most devastating UK electronic music put to wax. Seriously even if you don't like hardcore or whatever you can't deny the genius on show here. Every break has its own identity and just mercilessly kills it. I can just imagine Pesce in some clapped out East London studio in a bomber jacket and greasy hair knocking these tracks out. Legendary.
YEH UR SO RIGHT M8!!!..AND IT WAS IN MY STUDIO THAT IT WAS PUT TOGETHER
BUT FOR SUM UNKNOWN REASON REINFORCED DECIDED NOT TO CREDIT ME
FOR ENGINEERING THIS!!!...BIGUP PESHAY EVERYTIME...EVERYONE IN THE
KNOW KNOWS THE SCORE BUT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO HAVE HAD
THE CREDITS TO GO ON THE LABEL..!!!..BIGUP MISSEVERYTHING FOR THE UPLOAD AND IM ASSUMING THAT U ALSO DIDNT REALIZE!!!ALSO LARGING UP ALL WHO TAKE TIME TO COMMENT AND EXPRESS THEIR APPRECIATION!!!
love the way there are so many sections to this classic track. endlessly inventive, spooky vibes, amen .... DIS ONE HAS THE LOT!!! this is all that is good about jungle in one track - the dark contrasted with the light
Reinforced records for a time were releasing Big tune after Big tune! This is arguably Peshay's Finest 12 imo... so long ago now (15years) Reminds me so much of the old yaman sets by L.T.J. Bukem.. Hype.... Golden era fo sure!
Being a resident of Perth Western Australia. it's near on impossible to find oldskool tracks. thatmk you so much for all your uploads. truely you are an amazing person. Big Luv!
Its on LTJ Bukem @ Dreamscape 6, that mix is one of the first Drum and bass mixes all the other mixes I had upto this point were Hardcore, jungle techno or plain old Hardcore.
one thing iv learnt from listening to your vids is never sell your old skool like i did iv still got a few classics left like rufige cru killer muffin.never mind.
I had on two sides of the same mixtape Randall one side, Bukem played it on the other, you could hear MC Ace very quitly if you put your ear to thespeakers!
I heard this on a mixtape by Simon Bassline Smith years ago with classics like "Palamino" and "Warpdrive" by DJ Crystl. Its good 2 hear this again. Thanks
Quite honestly, an unbelievable track. Peshay literally wasn't capable of producing a duff tune.
