The model was not built by Dover but by a IUEC member . I toured the Dover Horn Lake headquarters once and they built one of the best hydraulic elevators. The Otis referance is a typo. I have an another model that is similar but 500 fpm geared traction and the color is forest green.
Nice cool elevator it even has a jack and a motor.I got a home made elevator at home i got on my site.I was thinking putting a motor on my elevator at mine has 12in cab bottom to top and the frame is about 6 ft (72in).thats cool looking and its very detailed i wish i had a elevator that detailed like yours.Mines is Hand oppearated.
