@markhinr: We had all of the good cars in our family; the ones that would try to kill you, (4) Corvairs (3) Pintos (2) vegas (3) K-cars. I was reading a "Brag" on the net, wherein the man said that he would drink a soda, & put the bottle in the door of the car as it went down the assembly line; on one car, he said he put a paper cup in one of the cylinders before the engine was finished. Not only did he do a dis-service to the person who paid good money for the car, but NOW no-one will buy US.
Good Videography; The car almost looks like the AMC Marlin from one angle. I used to always drive a Ford as a kid, until I found out that the model I had was prone to blowing up, if it got hit in the rear. Afterwards, I just stopped buying Fords. I did have a '78 Fairmont V8 with over 300,000 miles on it though...
@BlueHeavenBound Don't feel bad. I bought a new Chevy Vega in 1974. Even a worse car than the Pinto. Within 2 years the body was full of rust holes and the aluminum block motor was blowing blue exhaust out the tailpipe. It went to the junk yard with 69,000 miles on the speedometer. That was the first and last time I bought a GM product.
