  • WYMAN = PEDO

  • HAHAHA GOTTA LOVE KET<ITH

  • mick taylor was the stones best guitarist followed by brian jones.jones set the tone with his rhythm guitar playing.

  • @reg5381 If Mick taylor had not came along, they would be short afew albums no doubt....

  • at least bill wasn't like michael jackson and was screwing little boys!!!

  • This is a guitar band... I don't wanna hear those freakin drums!!!

  • Ronnie, you're such a little bitch.

Fuck I can' even go 30 seconds without talking dirty to him.

  • @HazelSmurf How Is Ronnie Wood a Bitch?

  • "Is there gonna be a lot of synthesizer in the show'?

    Clearly in the wrong job...

  • The Steel Wheelchair Tour.

  • Bill should come back for the 50th anniversary tour with the stones!

  • Well, Bill, maybe they underestimated him a bit in the band ...

  • Hard to believe that Bill is 11 years older than Ronnie!

  • @smautomat Keith & Mick were 15 yrs. older than I when I first starting seeing their faces in '67. I always thought Bill & Charlie were the uglier ones. But as time has gone by, I would say Bill has aged the best, especially in his 50s & 60s, to me, he looked far better than the rest. He's starting to get up there now, some, but then again, who isn't?

  • @kolbpilot Charlie looks good because when you look old when you are young, it doesnt show later ,,lol.

  • @Winterstick549 I agree, Charlie looks fine for his age.

  • I dig you, Tecumseh1812.Peace to Ronnie!

  • KEITH IS THE MONKEY BILL IS THE MAN

  • BRINGS BILL BACK

  • ronnnie can cut eric clapton. that's right. his bass playing in the old jeff beck group still kills me after 40 years. take him seiously.

  • @TheToocold the tones he used to get with the Faces were killer too . Ronnie is what they used to call a MotherF%!#ker

  • @Tecumseh1812 A lot of people rag on Ronnie but I look at him with amazement. The guy can draw (and probably paint), plays great guitar, and can thump the bass.

  • Bill was solid as a rock in the Stones, no wonder Richards was angry when he left!

  • @MottTheWot I don't begrudge Bill at all for leaving the Rolling Stones. He put his time in, made a pile of cash, and was ready to check out. Keith could huff & puff but what could he do. He ought to extend an olive branch & maybe Bill might play some.

  • @kolbpilot I don't think there is any animosity with between Bill and Keith, i think Keith just liked a stable line up and he regarded the Stones rhythm section very highly. Bill had put in 30 years service and had just come through the tumultuous 80's where Mick and Keith were having their playground spats! I guess Bill thought one more tour and i'm off! He's happy just doing his Rhythm Kings thing. It would've been nice to see the Exile line up play a show coinciding with this years releases.

  • @MottTheWot Keith is still (and I like Keith) sarcastic when it comes to discussing Bill. Unfair in my opinion.

  • @kolbpilot In his book Keith does mention that Bill was an incredible bass player and he Charlie were like one unit. It enabled Keith to become Keith Richards, the moves, the style of playing, the image etc, all the while knowing his rhythm section would not let him down. Bill is 7 years older than Keith, it would have been hard for him to relate back in the 60's other than by playing music together. Bill lasted 30 years and Richards certainly did not want him to leave, he got stroppy!

  • @kolbpilot I listen the 'some girls' album ( and I do often ), I hear Bill coming thru more than anyone . He is one funky Englishman

  • @kolbpilot Since Bill left the Stones there have been overtures made to have him record wtih the band and he has declined.

  • hurricane was pap, he sure didn't do his re-search there. guy was guilty as sin, Jokerman was Dylan's last great tune.

  • happy 74th birthday Bill!

  • happy 74th birthday Bill!!

  • Bill actually looks younger on this clip then he did in the 60s

  • It's great to hear from Bill and Woody that Keith was still the musical leader of The Stones in 1989.

  • What year was this interview and which Stone is Bill Wyman.

  • @67nairb The year is 1989, and Bill Wyman is the guy on the right. Ron Wood on the left.

  • @robin14669 Thanks for the info?

  • Are these guys Jewish ?

  • I can believe keyboards are around the edges. I'm sometimes shocked to read the instrument credits on a Stones song and think, "It has keyboards?" Like GIMME SHELTER and LOVE IS STRONG. You have to listen very closely to hear them.

  • wyman is an essential to the stones but bob dylans "flunky disco troupe" quote is soo stupid and fukd up cuz they sound nothing like that why dnt u keep puttin out shitty music bob dylan

  • is it true wymans around 90

  • @flakbac he was born in 1936 i believe so around 74.

  • For the sake of love: the laws denying incestuous marriage rights MUST be rescinded!!!

  • If you want to hear Woody play the shit out of his guitars, go and check out the Faces. It was ALL Ron Wood. It's all there on record.

I can't help myself when I hear someone put down a true guitar legend, but I'd rather let the music do the talking.

  • @rothofo that's what I think. He was really distinctive in the Faces, and then he sort of went bland.

  • Anyone who says Ron Wood is shit is obviously not listening. No he's not Mick Taylor. Get over it. Taylor was great, but Woody is by far the best guitar partner for Keith. The Stones were maybe past their prime when he joined but it's so much more interesting to listen to the 2 guitars. With Taylor, it was one lead gtr and one rhythm. But listen to Keith trading licks with Woody. Especially on stage. That's where they perfected their craft and re-invented the entire catalog of Stones songs.

  • @rothofo Taylor worked best with Keith imo, 68-75 was just a golden period. Ronnie's guitar playing went downhill when he joined the Stones. Fits as a person but lost an awful lot. As for the Faces reference, spot on, Coast to Coast had Ronnie at his peak. Amazing stuff.

  • @rothofo thank you.

  • @rothofo Right. It's the ancient art of weaving!

  • Thank you !

  • I'm all with you. And Ron Wood was much better and memorable as the bass player in Jeff Beck Group.

  • Ronnie plays with such feel, making him one of my favourite guitarists. Anyone agree?

  • q le pueden decir wood y wyman a keith??

  • Ronnie is so sweet with his smiling face. :D

  • small face you mean :P haha!

  • I think Mike Myers did the best impression of Ronnie ever!

  • Bill is the man. It's such a shame he's not with the Stones anymore. And Ronnie is, of course, great too.

  • As Bob Dylan says....without Wyman,The Stones sound almost like a flunky disco

    troupe./

  • fuck you!

  • Bob Dylan said that?

  • Yeah...in some Mojo interview 8 years ago.

I agree with him...Wyman was an integral

part of the Stones, musicwise he might have been replaceable, but ..look at all those old Stones clips and pictures,he was an integral part of The Stones' "durty" image.

The dude they've got now is invisible.

  • I totally agree.. I've always been a big Wyman fan and you can tell, there is a huge difference since Bill left. There's no more distinct riffs with amazing bass backing it up. The new guy doesn't stick out at all.

It just surprises me to hear that Bob said something of that nature. I didn't know he really criticized anybody. But what he said is true

  • Paullonden I can only disagree with your words about "musicwise replaceable". You see that Stones method of playing - rhythm sec. follows rhythm guitar = "heartbeat & pulse" - could never be invented by ANY OTHER PEOPLE but them three,Keith,Bill,Charlie.

  • Agree with you...I said 'might' though ;]

  • Musicwise...replaceable? Who played bass the last big hit the Stones ever had? (Bill)

  • I like Darryl, he's a cool motherfucker.

  • @PAULLONDEN the stones live play with to many players..brass and backing singers..

but in smaller venues they still rock.

  • @PAULLONDEN I saw bob dylan in 1989, the worst shit concert ever. Keith's sol group were 100 tomes better. And the stones, just look at the masses that have seen them for the last 20 years. There concerts have an awesome mix of music, the band stripped down to 6 players on some songs and others with the whole backing musicians. But the integrety of their rock sound is still there. Bob Dylan used to be great until 1976, now he needs to stfu.

  • @harp1925

Agreed ,Dylan's no saint, and made some shite music too,but he's still (deservedly so)the elder statesman that everyone looks up to.

    His integrety is still intact.

All respect to the Stones ,but they became more or less, just a cabaret act for the masses.

  • @harp1925 The Stones have not released a good album since 1981, on the other hand, Bob Dylan's last 4 albums are just as good as anything he did in the heights of his 60's and 70's eras. Three of them are even considered classics already. The Stones should have given it up after the disaster that was Emotional Rescue. Saw them three years ago & was disgusted after seeing Mick's aging homo strutting. Seen Dylan 3 times in the last 3 years. Intimate shows, music always changes, still interesting.

  • @cactaceous Dylan's last four albums are good. LOL! The last thing he did that was good was hurricane, the last time I saw him in concert in 1989, people wanted a refund, it was the worst show I have ever seen, an absolute abomination, no energy, no soul, no commitment, a complete fraud. BTW, I have heard only new song by dylan on the radio in the last ten years and it was basic 12 bar blues and sucked. Saw the stones in 05, they were fantastic, high energy, and the new songs rocked.

  • @PAULLONDEN rubbish

  • @PAULLONDEN If that numbskull jew ever said anything worth a pinch of shit, call me up! I will forward it to the New York Fucking Times and we shall all dance about.

  • @PAULLONDEN bill and charlie worked well together, but lets be honest, keith is the heart of the band.

  • @aektzis91 ....That's a hard rhythm section to lose. Bill + Charlie really grooved well together. I didn't come to give Charlie his full respect until I bought the 4-DVD set, "FOUR LICKS"....That dude jams EVERY song!

  • @AvirtualSwitzerland ....Could be FORTY LICKS? It's one or the other.

  • @PAULLONDEN Bob without his voice (meaning now) sounds like one long death rattle.

  • @RollingOrmond Haha good one!

  • @Evica72 Well 15 years for sexual crimes against minors did kind of get in the way of touring.

  • @armandin2048 Beats crimes against old ladies.

  • Bill doesn't look that much older than Ronnie, but he is almost 10 1/2 years older.

  • omg

  • Ron over ten years younger than Bill, but they seemed to like eachother.

  • Bill likes Ron because sitting next to Ron makes Bill look younger.

  • @lazur1 - Good point, Lazur, and Bill now also looks some 20 years younger than Keef.

  • @MannyMUC but bill now looks like a massive pedophile so its all apples and oranges i guess

  • @YOBRO79 WTF? Can't understand a word in that massive bullshit about apple-orange-pedo!

  • never watched a bill interview
