Well at least London Bridge Studio uses a 70's analog Neve console. The recordings there sound more organic than most places. Not to mention the fact that they still use tape (even if its just for kick and snare).

no. hes setting up some effects to record with for the drums. most recording you hear are still done reel to reel. can't get the same with digital yet
