It was right after doors opened. I was lucky to catch the announcer say that BRMC would be near the Gibson tent for an interview, which was located near the side stage. I believe it started at around 3pm. Luckily, a friend text me and told me about the 2nd interview at the VW stage and I only missed a couple of minutes of that one. You really had to pay attention to the small signs posted on the side of the stages/tents to know what was going on and when.
aww. i was looking everywhere for the "interaction" and posters. we waited like an hour at the main stage before 65 days of static came on,, when i couldve been there. wasnt love like fire playing at the side stage at the time though? by the way, were you able to go to the meet and greet with the cure?
no, I wasn't..didn't know when that was going on. I guess they really wanted us to work to find out when everything was happening, so sad. did you get to go to the meet and greet?
NO. *sob* ive been a fan of AFI for year's, and this was my first concert - so it was nice to see all those amazing bands along with of course, the cure. the meet and greet was during the afi show - and i wouldve left in a heartbeat to meet the cure, its not everyday you get to meet them! but they didnt announce anything! i have to say that the download festival lacked organization. one of the reasons i was so excited about DL was that it was interactive.. but that just diappointed me in the end
