I had a border collie and I loved him to peices but he died just over 2 years ago from cancer too. :'( I got a pawprint with his name underneath tattoo'd onto my shoulder. I live in the countryside at the moment with my parents, but i'm planning to move out soon into town and am really thinking about getting one of this breed :) What do you think??

@Chezzerrr thanx for the comment i do hope the bastard gets what he diserves. but i was wanting to tell you that i really recomend this breed cause they are really smart, my eskie who was hit knew 30 some tricks.sure they'lle piss you off sometimes but the look you in the eyes and tell you they are sorry.but i do recomend getting one around 5weeks-2month old pups cause if you dont teach them to stay on the property theylle never learn"TRUST ME". but they are really energetic dogs so you got ...

@kondakor1998 to give them exercise but im sure if you bye an eskie you wont regret it they practically become family i wasnt in so much pain when my grandparents died than loseing this dog.and also i do recomend the largest size cause they are the really nice dogs or the size befor i think the sizes are LARGE and STANDARD and the big upside is these dogs if they live there full "natural" lifespan that can last up to 20 years. please wright back :-)

I think this breed of puppy is so cute. I lost my cream colored chihuahua, Sierra, in April of this year. I want to get on of these puppies because it won't be a chihuahua but it will remind me of her. She was sooo sweet. My maltese, Disney, was so close to Sierra - they were inseparable. Maybe this will help her to not be so lonely when I am at work?

i have an imom inu (eskie cross shiba) named blizzy (short for blizzard) shes white with orange ears, and a curly tail. shes got soft fur like eskies, but looks like a shiba. shes got a cute eskie face too ^-^ she doesnt bark much which is awesome lol ur dog will grow up one day and be very beautiful, not that he/she isnt beautiful now! ;3

Believe or not, I got mine in a shelter in west Houston when she was nine months old. I drove a truck then and she took to it like she had been born on it. Every place we stopped was different. She's pooped in All 48 lower states and chased rabbits in most of them:) She's 12 now and is slowing down, but I live in Galveston now, so she get's to enjoy the beach. SadieAndSophie, they are THE best! They love people and are good with other animals and children. Lot's of grooming though. Good Luck!

we live in germany and have 2 of them, so i think you can get them in britain too. it might be a little hard to find a good breeder though since it is a breed that is slowly getting sort of extinct. not as much in the us though as here.

everytime i walk mine people talk to me(older people) that they used tom have one and havent seen one in a long time..:(

which is pretty sad, after 13 years of experiance i can say they are awesome dogs
