I really wonder if that sort of a laser field security can exist. Laser intrusion detection actually depends on two parts -transmitter & sensor . It's only when the laser signal between the transmitter and the sensor gets blocked that it knows that there was an intrusion.This eventually trips the alarm.

You would think if the whole floor was a receptor, it would work. But still, the laser beams moving about in almost perfect randomness won't be caught by the receptor.The dance is still cool :P

The lasers have to have a receptor in the end of the laser - if the the link with the receptor is broken (when someone steps in to the beam) then the alarm goes off! So lasers could never be moving (and they never do IRL cases)

But in this case the lasers don't have anything to connect to! So I don't know how one can trigger the alarm!
