@owzzer9 did you just get your snake? my snake was like that too when i first got her but now shes fine. you just have to handle them as much as you can, if she/he tries to strike you wear gloves at first and if they stop trying to strike hold them with no gloves so they get used to you.

@aratisbug , you have to handle your snake alot for it to get used to your scent then you can put it closer to your face if you trust the snake. Mine was very aggressive at first, but ive handeled it alot and now I can have it wrapped around my neck,she is still aggressive to other people though

I own 3 balls, a black rat snake, a jungle carpet python, a honduran milksnake, an oketee corn snake, and a mangrove cat eye snake(rear fanged hot) of all my snakes, the ball pythons are the easiest and most docile, and the mangrove is the spawn of the devil. but these snakes deffinately make great pets, and alot easier than most other pets in terms of maintenance and keeping costs.

@Cristiano120100 its plausible, however highly unlikely, most snakes dont want to take on something they cant eat, plus ball pythons are very VERY docile, but its the same with any pet, a dog will bite if you agitate it enough, same with a snake, the only scenario that this snake would harm a 4 year old is if the parent and owner were irresponsible enough to allow a 4 year old to handle a snake this size unsupervised, hope this helps

Mine could fit in the palm of my hand when I got him 2 years ago when I got him and he is not as wide as this snake but no far behind. Keep in mind the females get larger then the males do.

It didn't weigh that much. When he took off the tub that the snake was in it went to -2 grams. So the 3115 grams was half snake and half tub and bedding. I've got an 10 month male that's almost the same size as that... I havn't put up a video in a while, but i'll put up one soon.
