  • There are few(if any) bands who sign to a new label, record a new album(Endless Nameless at the time),record a number of really good melodies, but being completely original, they fill the mix with so much distortion,it's like the tracks are trapped under a foot of ice, never to be heard in their clear form.

What's more they got away with it!

Best & most underrated British Rock bands of the last 20/25 years

  • Wildhearts = ear rape!

    fucking awesome!

  • This rocks. The Wildhearts rule. Nuff said.

  • One of the most diverse, consistent, catchiest, GREAT, rock bands of the past 20 years. They are so good that everyone should be sick of them but unfortunately they are below most peoples radar. I tell everyone I meet, that I talk music with, about them. So I do what I can. Hopefully they will regroup soon and give us more great music. Ginger is a GENIUS!

  • You can say what ya like about the poppy lyrics, the effects, the riffs, whatever. Bottom line is, there is NOBODY out there with the balls to mix it up like this band. Speak to Ginger about his musical influences and he'll chat all day and all night about the broadest range of artists you ever heard. Thats where it all comes from, and the man is that much of a genius to make it work.

Green Day? They aint fit to shine The Wildhearts boots!

  • BRILLIANT, and I love the vocal effects too.

  • phew this song your like CRAP THEY WENT POP, then your like phew.. THey still do some pop but im not sure why...

  • What a fucking song!! It's crazy and catchy. In typical wildhearts fashion, they manage to ram in loads of wonderfull ideas and ire into one song. The 80s pop fused vocoder vocals, the system of a down-style riff lunacy, the Metallic chug 'round the 2 an' a half minute mark, and then it drifts off into the horizon in classic Pink Floyd soundin' glory.

The whole chutzpah! album is great- it destroys all the pop-rock pap in the magazines today, and the Wildies' should be bigger than em all!

  • Nice fake out at the beginning. For a second, they had me concerned they went pop lol.

  • Amazing and Original

  • The Wildhearts rock my insignificant world

  • only the wildhearts can pull this off, a track that actually sounds like suckerpunch and caffeine bomb mixed together... genius.. best band ever.. EVER

  • I'd say Chutzpah! Is joined with Atreyu's Congregation Of The Damned album for best album of 2009.

  • somehow this sounds a lot like pink floyd!

  • What a song!! Simply mintnificent! Wildhearts ruuuuuule!

  • why does ginger sound like his former employee devin?

  • Sound a bit too much like kily in the chorus , the synth volals suck, sorry guys

  • oh , yeah!! Green Day, Offspring, Wildhearts

the best bands of all time

  • green day?? where's the originality in that! you cant even compare them to the wildhearts...

  • true!

  • @mikiep4 You definitively have to listen Earth Vs

  • @PsychoholicSlag83 I have, and I wasn't disputing that anything from the WH isn't great or classic, but the comment from said party ^^^ that GD has no originality. People like to shit on GD because they went from nothing to THE biggest band and try to take away their credibility. I love the WH but they've yet to compose an album that could compare to American Idiot, and again, I'd bet that they'd even say the same thing. Just my opinion though....

  • @mikiep4 Ok. It's your opinion. I used to listen to Green Day when I was a teen. And i did heard American Idiot (my sister owns a copy and just couldn't help curiosity) and didn't liked it. As you say: just opinions...

  • @PsychoholicSlag83 I thought American Idiot Was OK. But really as far as Green Day went they were better in the past. Really the Wildhearts is where its at for Rock. If you want Brutal Death Metal, look up Fleshgod Apocalypse

  • Very good. I was worried that they would take their foot off the gas after a storming intro but it just keeps going! Love the way that they use vocal effects normally associated with R&B tracks.

  • yes bloody right!

  • Greaaaaaatt !!! DAMN!!! \o/ Nice album btw ;)

  • That verse followed by that chorus is pure genius

  • This song blow your fucking socks off...

    Great song, great album :-)
