In these videos you apply the glide waxes to the full length of the skis. I have heard in other instruction videos that the kick zone should not be glide waxed on a classic ski. Is this true?

it's not down,nor jumping and it does not have rails. It's mostly on flat land with little hills.

Is the brushing technique the same on soft and hard waxes in regards to brush types and strokes?
