funny you talk of personality cults.. the US has the most hyped elections in the world, where millions are spent just on commercials, and where each successive president has to build a personality cult around him in order to get elected.
One of the many criticisms against GWB was the cultish nature of some of his "Jesus camp" type voters. Fortunately, the Republicans have been rejected. I don't seen Obama making us all wear blue shirts or ranting on about crushing capitalism.
lol there is no bigger cult movement than Obamanoids who chanted empty slogans and pinned all their hopes on "The One". don't be a hypocrite. and the red shirts..party members of the PSUV wear them and so do citizens who want to show their solidarity with the Bolivarian project. no one is forced to wear them. as for the "ranting on about crushing capitalism", it's called political rhetoric, get used to it.
The only place where Obama supporters are "Obamanoids" is in the minds of right wing nuts like Rush Limbaugh. I never met any Obama supporter who actually had this messiah image of Obama that the Republicans were claiming. And no, I won't get used to Chavez's ranting. "Political rhetoric" is not an excuse to get away with demogoguery.
that's not demagogy, it's called having your pulse on the political mood of the people. maybe you are not aware, but pure, unregulated "free market" capitalism is not very popular these days in latin america, so the political rhetoric (which is a part of every campaign) will reflect that. true demagogy is what Obama and the rest of your politicians in engage in; phony invocations of "patriotism" to get people to support unpopular wars and escalation of violence in afghanistan, pakistan
Chavez never makes the distinction between capitalism and anarchic free market capitalism. It's always "capitalism" he condemns, coercing everyone to make a black and white choice between capitalism and socialism.
Inkan, no one is "coerced" to make a choice, Venezuela is a democracy with a multi-party system, there are hundreds of political platforms to choose from, everything from the communists, conservatives, liberals, social democrats, etc. liberal elitists like you just have to accept the fact that there is mass support for a radical government, with only small pockets of resistance from the bourgeoisie and people not satisfied with the way Chavez has dealt with certain problems.
I was saying that Chavez's rhetoric is always in a black and white context. Either capitalism or socialism. He sure makes it sound like you got only two choices in life. Also, I didn't say that Chavez wasn't popular. He's very popular in many regions of Venezuela, just like the Republicans were very popular in places like North Carolina and Indiana. I have full confidence then that with effort, popularity can change...
no. capitalism is any system based on private ownership of the means of production. where there exists capital (money or material used to invest in for-profit business), you have capitalism, a laissez faire economy is not necessary and has, in fact, never truly existed.
U.S. was never suppose to be a democracy, democracy is a horrible form of government. This was understood by our founding fathers and written in the Federalist papers and espoused by Madison, in a democracy the majority sectors simply dominate minority opinion and have absolute reigning power - in a representative democracy however, minority rights and interests are protected and a more pragmatic balance is achieved among the people.
I'm glad to hear that an opposition is growing to match Chavez. Reform for the people shouldn't have to depend on a caudillo like Chavez leading a personality cult with capitalism-bashing rhetoric.
He's got his own TV show, his own red shirt brigade. He's running the place like a personality cult. Would the reform movement still exist if Chavez all of the sudden vanished into thin air?
most of the media in Venezuela is privately owned and very hostile to the government. the TV show is a way to stay connected to the people and keep them informed. you would understand the importance if you lived through the coup in 2002, when the president was kidnapped and all of the TV networks were playing cartoons and soap operas to keep the public ignorant of the events happening outside their homes.
Despite American attempts at disrupting the daily lives of everyday Venezuelans. I'd say Chavez is doing a better job than most, given his current situation. Considering Venezuelas vast natural resources, there's no reason anyone in that country should be suffering.
But keep blaming socialism for all the mistakes the US has made in the past sixty years, it's all you have in the end. Exxon made 40 billion profit last year and yet is still receiving money from the US government, money the US can't afford. The US is wasting billions on offense and Israel is leaching billions too. You call that socialism? That is pure capitalism and it's crushing the US. I will sit here in the EU and laugh while your country destroys itself from within, hope you're enjoying it.
i agree that the US has HORRIBLE leaders, and is going down the shitter. however, bloated welfare programs like medicare & SS, affirmative action, disgusting spendature on military, it's all socialism, mostly a redistribution of wealth to the rich, and thats whats destroying the US.
however, you shouldn't be laughing at the US, another white country, that is just stupid and ignorant. the west needs to stick together and chances are we will NEED each other in the future.
so they don't have to get loans. You know nothing about history because it's this stupidity that brought on the collapse of the world in the 1930's. Your NeoCon propaganda might work in that backwater country of yours but deregulation isn't socialism, it's capitalism. Lack of control isn't socialism, it's capitalism. Where was the regulation and control on Wallstreet? It was removed under Raegan, Clinton and the Bush's. Neo Raeganism is killing the US.
it is a dictatorship, to believe otherwise is naive.
EU immigration policy is going to DESTROY Europe. of course, you are probably brainwashed and believe 'diversity' and 'multiculturalism' is something to celebrate.
yeah it will be so great when Europe is not even inhabited by Europeans anymore and you have no homeland for your people. awesome, you think European culture and national identity will remain intact after you've given away your continent to non-Europeans? you're sadly mistaken. or are you willing to just throw it all away? do you honestly think you are preaching from an ivory-tower there in the EU? Europe is going down the toilet if your beloved EU dictatorship continues to have it's way.
Your head isn't deep enough up your own arse unett, it needs to go a little further, keep shoving. According to your own government the US is going to be overtaken by China and India, not because of socialism (something you know nothing about) but because of capitalism. Under a socialist system nobody would have been granted loans they can't afford (that's why it's so hard to get a loan in Europe). It's capitalistic slavery. Under socialism the poor would be given money
china is much more capitalist than the US, it has pretty much ZERO social welfare programs or government safety net. government over-spending and lack of production of real wealth is the US' problem. the US became powerful and wealthy through capitalism, it is reversing it's success with socialism and bad trade, immigration and anti-white policies.
No country on this planet is more corrupt and dirty than the US. But you won't hear that on Faux. Keep believing in your superiourity while the country goes down the drain fast. Bush has lent 700 billion from Russia, China and the EU to pay his Wallstreet friends as a thank you for their mess. That money will be used by the same scum who created the problem to buyout firms that are going bankrupt, so they come out even stronger. Capitalism works indeed for the corrupt and the criminals.
haha people just never, ever learn, do they? Here we go with yet another failed socialistic experiment that will go ignored, while another cancerous one has just sprouted here in the U.S.
Socialism is cancer but capitalism is success. Now let's look at the US with its crushing 1 trillion debt and exalt in the glory of foreclosures, job losses and a financial crisis that has been in the making for decades. The only failed experiment is capitalism. The US are brainwashed into corporate profits and that doesn't include welfare for anyone, that includes veterans who come back after serving for their country.
what would you know about the causes of this collapse? You are way over on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean and you think you know what is going on in our country. All you hear is your socialist propaganda european news and you believe it. The financial crisis started with bad mortgages that were forced upon banks by socialistic ideology that compelled bankers to give loans to those who were not qualified to have them. You also seem to think socialism is immune from corruption. LOL
Oh, and wtf do you even know unett? Your not even right either. All that little situation is nothing more than a carefully controlled demolition of the old ways. Nothing more, and nothing less.
The mess we're in is certainly not going to be cleaned up by bailouts, which can only add fuel to the fire. Corporations that need restructuring must do so or dissolve. CEOs must be held accountable and Unions that are leaching the life out of the companies must be tossed out. There needs to be a major overhaul in the way things are run, but I'll take capitalism and free enterprise any day over socialism and government intrusion.
"Facing rising Dissent" - well please tell us what it is that dissenters suggest be done to change their discontent. I would much prefer having a full report on this matter instead of this incomplete clip of 2.5 minutes.
What a dump! Chavez is using all his money to install a nuclear facility with the help of Russia. Chavez is also supporting Bolivia and Cuba....hmmmm expansionism by Mr. Communist. Not to worry, Putin will stick it right up Chavez's commie ass.
any Venezuelans here have a comment on this? i mean we only get what we hear from the new and i would like to hear from a person that actually lives there.
The only people you'll likely hear from that live there are going to be the rich bastards who hate Chavez for distributing the wealth to all the people in the country.
At least now these people have free education and healthcare programs, and the music programs too. If life is hard now, imagine before Chavez! Changing such mass numbers of poverty and crime take time, not even a decade is enough anywhere. Obama isn't going to fix the US in one year either.
AirelonTrading LOL yeah, I agree with you. Socialism is the most stupid system on the planet. We only have to look at the US and see how well their manufacturing is doing, compared to Europe. Europe has no manufacturing anymore, while the US are still producing cars, have money and aren't begging their government.
According to your own government the US will be irrelevant by 2025, stick your head further in the sand because capitalism is dead.
Are you crazy? Did you say that the US manufacturing "industry" is doing well? Really? Our CAR industry that's begging the government for a 35 Billion dollar bail out? Our falling economy?
The U.S. is the biggest arms manufacturer and dealer in history! The GDP is in shambles, but that doesn't necessarily mean the totality of industry is broken.
This is merely semantics. The U.S. is agreed upon as a Capitalist system. Capitalism, it's myriad branches, and the "free market", are doomed systems as they're built on continual growth, which manifests in the progressively exploitative practices of not only the environment, but the people. It is an unsustainable system.
Anyway, there are no absolute models of any political theory in practice, they are all hybridized, named, renamed, and named again.
Actually no, because what you said to begin with has no relevance as it has never been applied in the real world. There are too many variables to say concretely how any political theory would work if applied, even if done so to the t. In theory communism works well, but we have not seen pure communism, just like we have not seen pure socialism, or pure capitalism etc. Don't feel as though you have some supreme political knowledge because you can regurgitate what someone has labeled the U.S.
i don't think this report argued against the basis of Chavez's plans. what i think it is stating is that new strategies are required. perhaps, grassroots initiatives.
All you need to do is read the title. The story presents what Chavez has done for Venezuelans as trivial, and that he should be overthrown because there's some trash building up in the poorest sectors of town. They equated Chavez to trash, which the people should throw away so they can eat their food in clean streets. Not only that but they act as though the people are prisoners of the Chavez government.
I worked in advertising man, this is pure propaganda.
When you watch a commercial advertising for coke, do they always say buy coke? Do they always say coke is tasty? You should drink coke? No, all of this is implied in the way they appeal to your psychology through various uses of images and words. If you don't understand what I'm talking about, or know what propaganda is, then I'm afraid I can't help you understand my post.
I definitely know what propaganda is, but you're missing a very vital aspect that separates propaganda from journalism. One is a fabricated presentation of images and messages attempting to elicit a specific response from an audience. Journalism chooses specific non-fiction images and facts to create a story about a particular topic. The topic of this piece of news was about problems facing real Venezuelans.
Just because it makes Chavez look bad says nothing about whether it's true or unbiased.
Ok, let's say you go onto a neo-nazi website, they will report facts as well, like a crime report of only minorities. This leads one to believe that minorities are to blame for all crimes. These same tactics are used in the main stream press to illicit a certain reaction to what they are reporting. If they reported that eating cake makes you skinny (which is true depending on the context i.e. if you ate only cake, and one piece per day for all your sustenance) then people will believe it.
Poor Chavez, poor little dictator. The man has no respect for FREEDOM. He bans free speech, and dissenting political opinion. Yet you support the man just because he's a huge socialist? Gimme a break.
You're making really bad arguments, GildedTermite. Nothing you've said has applied specifically to the piece of news you're trying to claim is propaganda.
They certainly didn't equate Chavez to trash, they're just reporting facts. Don't resort to pathetic ad hominems because you're self-satisfied knee-gut reaction to the news piece was OFF BASE.
Venezuela is a democracy, in fact for how long it has been established, and considering what the political system was before Chavez, I'd have to say it's a surprisingly functional democracy. If you'd like to compare to say, the U.S., which not only has a much lower turnout rate, complete blackout of opposition parties, and absolutely no possibility of a representative of the people to win, you'd realize just how invaluable Chavez has been for not only Venezuela, but the whole of Latin America.
Excuse my hard-line definition, but I don't think having a congress where 300k citizens+ are represented by only ONE voice in the house of representatives a democracy.
It's a republic, and a poorly representative one at best.
I don't define any as a democracy. I think democracy is one of those high falutin concepts like Communism that sound great on paper but are impossible in real life.
Well said darkreign16. Chavez is a dictator who bans freedom of speech, locks up political rivals. He needs to go and we need a US puppet instead right? Why would you need to lock dissenters up when you can lock them up under the Patriot Act or can hold them indefinitely in Guantanamo Bay. Democracy US style, or should I say oil plunder US style?
I support the man because he stands up to the ZioNazi's in Washington and is trying to help the poor rather than the Wallstreet scum.
Darkreign doesn't believe in government, or education, or economics, or really anything, because he's a rich braindead American teenager. All he has to do is go to school and his parents buy him his BMW and pay for his toys, and after school drug habit.
I am very dissapointed with Al Jazeera for posting such a biased video. I have come to expect a higher quality of journalism from this news agency which has up until now consistently sought out all sides of a story. This piece reminds me of so much of the shameless propoganda of the mainstream media. Come on Al Jazeera. I worked in a hospital in Venezuela this year. There is an unaccpetable level of violence but these things are not sorted out in 5 years. There has been enormous progress.
keefinator2008... Do you feel that AL is being swayed by American policy, if so why do you feel that way?
I ask because I don't know enough about Venezuela, past or present. I do know that American media pipes out allot of crap, do you think that Al's following suit?
That was not biased at all. They reported on people living in slums near overflowing TRASH bins being unhappy with the government. What, are they supposed to say, "but really, they are happy on the inside, praise chavez, our loyal dictator who bans dissenting opinions".
He is someone who is tired of a country bullying his neighbors like chile guatemala and demanding land for oil production as if they owned it all and using paramilitary violence. When all the evidence of the crimes committed by this administration, Kucinich's 35 articles of impeachment investigated, Bugliosi asked to prosecute Bush (See Charlotte Dennett), then we'll get a view of the tip of the iceberg.
"but there are two sides to every story. Thanks too Al Jazeera for this honest reporting."
Not sure about that, theres two sides to a story but theres also a context. Columbia which gets US Aid has government backed and Chikita paid paramilitary intimidating workers and labor leaders get assasinated. Argentina's economy collapsed after implementing neoleberal IMF policies. Allende's ovethrow was supported by the US to put Pinochet.
Context: US engages in economic warfare & destabilisation
The CIA has nothing to do with this. Blame Chavez. Thats half the reason these countrys do so bad. Instead of solving their own problems they bitch that its someones else fault.
Check out a book by John Perkins called economic hit men. He is a former CIA agent working for the world bank. His job was to trick countries in central america into getting loans they could not pay back in order to get their resources. If that did not work the presidents were assassinated by CIA jackals and it starts over with the new president.
Plus these power cuts are, I suspect part of a bigger sabatoge plan just like the food sabatoge last year help Chavez lose the elections. These power sabtoges will stop ifthe oppostion getsthe result it wants inthe election on sunday.
So how come in Scandanavian countries where theeconomy is 60% socialims and 40% capitalism, they seem to be handling this crisis well and are very stable. (Save Iceland). Look like Capitalism isn't working either!
Tip for you, Capitalism isn't working! Look at the US economy!ha ha ha Capitalism is a JOKE! You can't fix what Capitalism has done in Venezuela in just 5yrs!
They purposely broke the economy/wall street to drive a world recession and bring down oil prices so shitheads like chavez & Iran won't have extra money to spend on weapons & nuclear development. Now let chavez worry about his people he so much cares for with little money coming in. & stop giving it to cuba or central america
If you think capitalism is the system we have here in America, you're an idiot. We have a system of CORPORATISM. It's vastly different from free market capitalism. Free market capitalism cannot exist with government.
All you fucking losers critizing the US government! let me tell you what the US is doeing to venezuela. buying billions of dollars of oil from your country! Under socialism the poor would be given money
somethingawful01 3 years ago
china is much more capitalist than the US, it has pretty much ZERO social welfare programs or government safety net. government over-spending and lack of production of real wealth is the US' problem. the US became powerful and wealthy through capitalism, it is reversing it's success with socialism and bad trade, immigration and anti-white policies.
cromespyder 3 years ago
No country on this planet is more corrupt and dirty than the US. But you won't hear that on Faux. Keep believing in your superiourity while the country goes down the drain fast. Bush has lent 700 billion from Russia, China and the EU to pay his Wallstreet friends as a thank you for their mess. That money will be used by the same scum who created the problem to buyout firms that are going bankrupt, so they come out even stronger. Capitalism works indeed for the corrupt and the criminals.
somethingawful01 3 years ago
haha people just never, ever learn, do they? Here we go with yet another failed socialistic experiment that will go ignored, while another cancerous one has just sprouted here in the U.S.
unett 3 years ago
Socialism is cancer but capitalism is success. Now let's look at the US with its crushing 1 trillion debt and exalt in the glory of foreclosures, job losses and a financial crisis that has been in the making for decades. The only failed experiment is capitalism. The US are brainwashed into corporate profits and that doesn't include welfare for anyone, that includes veterans who come back after serving for their country.
somethingawful01 3 years ago
what would you know about the causes of this collapse? You are way over on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean and you think you know what is going on in our country. All you hear is your socialist propaganda european news and you believe it. The financial crisis started with bad mortgages that were forced upon banks by socialistic ideology that compelled bankers to give loans to those who were not qualified to have them. You also seem to think socialism is immune from corruption. LOL
unett 3 years ago
Oh, and wtf do you even know unett? Your not even right either. All that little situation is nothing more than a carefully controlled demolition of the old ways. Nothing more, and nothing less.
lyden2006 3 years ago
The mess we're in is certainly not going to be cleaned up by bailouts, which can only add fuel to the fire. Corporations that need restructuring must do so or dissolve. CEOs must be held accountable and Unions that are leaching the life out of the companies must be tossed out. There needs to be a major overhaul in the way things are run, but I'll take capitalism and free enterprise any day over socialism and government intrusion.

I would expect a less shallow presentation from al jazeera. This is really crap.

"Facing rising Dissent" - well please tell us what it is that dissenters suggest be done to change their discontent. I would much prefer having a full report on this matter instead of this incomplete clip of 2.5 minutes.

And, ya know, that small fact that he's a dictator who bans dissenting political speech. I'm sure that they are upset just a tad over that.

The only people you'll likely hear from that live there are going to be the rich bastards who hate Chavez for distributing the wealth to all the people in the country.
GildedTermite 3 years ago 2
At least now these people have free education and healthcare programs, and the music programs too. If life is hard now, imagine before Chavez! Changing such mass numbers of poverty and crime take time, not even a decade is enough anywhere. Obama isn't going to fix the US in one year either.
AndrewMann552 3 years ago
Read the title as: "Chavez faces rising CIA funds for an uprising."
That should make it clear where the 'dissent' comes from. Venezuela has oil, the US want it, they are doing everything they can to get it.
somethingawful01 3 years ago
Gee ... a socialistic approach turned the place into a heap.
Like that's never happened ... oh ... wait. That's right, that's what happens every time.
So I wonder who Chavez will blame this time? I suppose now that Al Jazeera is supposedly in the hire of the capitalists?

well duh cuz one intity tries to take care of and treat every as the same
jblive1985 3 years ago
AirelonTrading LOL yeah, I agree with you. Socialism is the most stupid system on the planet. We only have to look at the US and see how well their manufacturing is doing, compared to Europe. Europe has no manufacturing anymore, while the US are still producing cars, have money and aren't begging their government.
According to your own government the US will be irrelevant by 2025, stick your head further in the sand because capitalism is dead.
somethingawful01 3 years ago
Are you crazy? Did you say that the US manufacturing "industry" is doing well? Really? Our CAR industry that's begging the government for a 35 Billion dollar bail out? Our falling economy?
I really hope that was sarcastic.

The U.S. is the biggest arms manufacturer and dealer in history! The GDP is in shambles, but that doesn't necessarily mean the totality of industry is broken.
GildedTermite 3 years ago
The United States does not have capitalism, and hasn't had capitalism.
It has had mercantilism, and that's what is dying a painful death.
AirelonTrading 3 years ago
china is an example of mercantilism, not the US, not even close.
cromespyder 3 years ago
In a Capitalistic society, there can be no lobbyists.
In a Capitalistic society, governments do not work as partners with private industry.
In a Capitalistic society, private industries do not seek capital from the government when they are doing poorly.
All of those things Adam Smith (I am assuming you know who he is) decried and criticized; all aspects of mercantilism
But all of those things DO occur within Keynesian mercantilist societies, like the United States
AirelonTrading 3 years ago
This is merely semantics. The U.S. is agreed upon as a Capitalist system. Capitalism, it's myriad branches, and the "free market", are doomed systems as they're built on continual growth, which manifests in the progressively exploitative practices of not only the environment, but the people. It is an unsustainable system.
Anyway, there are no absolute models of any political theory in practice, they are all hybridized, named, renamed, and named again.
GildedTermite 3 years ago
So I win.
Ok.
AirelonTrading 3 years ago
Actually no, because what you said to begin with has no relevance as it has never been applied in the real world. There are too many variables to say concretely how any political theory would work if applied, even if done so to the t. In theory communism works well, but we have not seen pure communism, just like we have not seen pure socialism, or pure capitalism etc. Don't feel as though you have some supreme political knowledge because you can regurgitate what someone has labeled the U.S.

GildedTermite 3 years ago
i don't think this report argued against the basis of Chavez's plans. what i think it is stating is that new strategies are required. perhaps, grassroots initiatives.
samdonuge 3 years ago
"Chavez faces rising dissent"
All you need to do is read the title. The story presents what Chavez has done for Venezuelans as trivial, and that he should be overthrown because there's some trash building up in the poorest sectors of town. They equated Chavez to trash, which the people should throw away so they can eat their food in clean streets. Not only that but they act as though the people are prisoners of the Chavez government.
I worked in advertising man, this is pure propaganda.
GildedTermite 3 years ago 3
What are you even talking about?
They didn't say anything about whether Chavez should remain in power or not. It's a freaking three minute news report!
premitive1 3 years ago
When you watch a commercial advertising for coke, do they always say buy coke? Do they always say coke is tasty? You should drink coke? No, all of this is implied in the way they appeal to your psychology through various uses of images and words. If you don't understand what I'm talking about, or know what propaganda is, then I'm afraid I can't help you understand my post.
GildedTermite 3 years ago
I definitely know what propaganda is, but you're missing a very vital aspect that separates propaganda from journalism. One is a fabricated presentation of images and messages attempting to elicit a specific response from an audience. Journalism chooses specific non-fiction images and facts to create a story about a particular topic. The topic of this piece of news was about problems facing real Venezuelans.
Just because it makes Chavez look bad says nothing about whether it's true or unbiased.
premitive1 3 years ago
Ok, let's say you go onto a neo-nazi website, they will report facts as well, like a crime report of only minorities. This leads one to believe that minorities are to blame for all crimes. These same tactics are used in the main stream press to illicit a certain reaction to what they are reporting. If they reported that eating cake makes you skinny (which is true depending on the context i.e. if you ate only cake, and one piece per day for all your sustenance) then people will believe it.
GildedTermite 3 years ago
Poor Chavez, poor little dictator. The man has no respect for FREEDOM. He bans free speech, and dissenting political opinion. Yet you support the man just because he's a huge socialist? Gimme a break.

You're making really bad arguments, GildedTermite. Nothing you've said has applied specifically to the piece of news you're trying to claim is propaganda.
They certainly didn't equate Chavez to trash, they're just reporting facts. Don't resort to pathetic ad hominems because you're self-satisfied knee-gut reaction to the news piece was OFF BASE.

premitive1 3 years ago
Venezuela is a democracy, in fact for how long it has been established, and considering what the political system was before Chavez, I'd have to say it's a surprisingly functional democracy. If you'd like to compare to say, the U.S., which not only has a much lower turnout rate, complete blackout of opposition parties, and absolutely no possibility of a representative of the people to win, you'd realize just how invaluable Chavez has been for not only Venezuela, but the whole of Latin America.
GildedTermite 3 years ago 2
I definitely don't consider the US a democracy.
And I still don't consider Venezuela one either.
Excuse my hard-line definition, but I don't think having a congress where 300k citizens+ are represented by only ONE voice in the house of representatives a democracy.
It's a republic, and a poorly representative one at best.
premitive1 3 years ago
So what country do you define as a democracy?
GildedTermite 3 years ago
I don't define any as a democracy. I think democracy is one of those high falutin concepts like Communism that sound great on paper but are impossible in real life.
premitive1 3 years ago
Well said darkreign16. Chavez is a dictator who bans freedom of speech, locks up political rivals. He needs to go and we need a US puppet instead right? Why would you need to lock dissenters up when you can lock them up under the Patriot Act or can hold them indefinitely in Guantanamo Bay. Democracy US style, or should I say oil plunder US style?
I support the man because he stands up to the ZioNazi's in Washington and is trying to help the poor rather than the Wallstreet scum.
somethingawful01 3 years ago

Chavez is a filthy pig. Who the hell does he think he is, coming to the US and insulting President Bush.
HotLeper 3 years ago

Check out a book by John Perkins called economic hit men. He is a former CIA agent working for the world bank. His job was to trick countries in central america into getting loans they could not pay back in order to get their resources. If that did not work the presidents were assassinated by CIA jackals and it starts over with the new president.
