  • Sweet. Can you sing and play it? Seems like you'd have a nice voice for accompanying your banjo. That's what I hope to learn someday, how to sing and play. Keep doing that there thang.

  • i like the tone on your banjer there man. i'm lookin for a real deep tone on my next open back. i had a deering goodtime it was good but it seemed to not play as well after awhile of owning it/playing it. i didn't keep it in a case which probably helped its downfall but i say they overprice the goodtime. in this day and age, a good banjo is expensive man. anyway keep up the good works

  • what tuning (key) are you playing in? is ROUNDPEAK the style of clawhammer you play in?

  • The banjo is capo'ed up to the key of A. The style I am playing is Clawhammer, Roundpeak is a style of clawhammer. And that is what I am doing here.

  • Yeh Boy!!!Damn good pickin

  • great

  • Wow, I like your version of John Henry. Clawhammer has always amazed me, so many notes come out but it looks as if you're just strumming. UNBELIEVABLE! Thanks for sharing. =^)

  • Splendid playing - rock solid beat. Thanks. PS, my compliments also to your hair stylist.

  • You got a nice rhythm going there. Sounds great, Josh.

  • Solid, man. You've really got the Round Peak thing happening -- are you using Brad's book, or going by ear?

  • Way to hammer that out man...Good Job!

  • yeah! where did you get this version? ive played this one a bit but havent heard many others play it. good job man, it sounds great.

  • All right!. I like playing that one on harmonica. Haven't tried to learn it yet on my banjo.

  • nice.
