hi, why my sound still worst even connected the audio cable from output to mic laptop & from mix in to earphone laptop.. u can check my vid at 'master of puppets metallica [drum cover] roland hd 1'
hey dude, i wanna buy this thing but when i tested it, i tried out the rock kit with double bass activated (obviously I'm a (death) metal drummer), but the second tom was a woodblock or some shit and i was thinking "what the hell is that supposed to be good for, i want another tom!" Can you change that?
Because other than that this thing really slays! I mean it's not too big, not too small, not too many wires, and mesh-head snare. I want it as a pratice kit
i usually work that way, though i've never tested DFH. i record double bass on one take and fills with toms on another, then i edit the audio (though i haven't upload videos with that kind of tricks yet).
with this kit and a PC your limit is your imagination.
This and your Jesus of Suburbia cover has pretty much sold me on the HD-1. And now I can't wait for you to make more videos because when I get enough cash to buy the HD-1, I will have a brilliant source of learning! Thanks a lot!

reduce the microphone gain on your laptop and decrease your drum volume to about 1/4, this avoid sound saturation.
frankibio 3 years ago
what u meant of reduce mic gain? is it decrease the volume for the laptop?
sorry if so many query...
fooqaw 3 years ago
Go to windows task bar: sound (the little speaker icon): record: click microphone properties: levels.
Then reduce the mic gain to 0.0 db and the mic level to about 25%.

i wonder, y your pads/tom/cymbals no scratches on the rubber?..
does any stick print on your pads?
fooqaw 3 years ago
au contraire, my sticks get black on their heads from the rubber. I use these only for electric.
frankibio 3 years ago
i dont understand,. could you explain more about this. i meant, how to avoid my pads from scratches/stick print
fooqaw 3 years ago
Save one pair of drumsticks only for e-drums. Sticks with nylon heads are great for this.

that thing is a cowbell and i'm afraid it can't be changed.
frankibio 3 years ago
well then this thing definetly needs less cowbell ^^
but i guess you can always hook it up to your pc, so that I could use the "drumkit from hell" for example, right?

Me ha gustado.
Deberias haberte cambiado de ropa entre tomas, para crear confusión.
Veo que le vas cogiendo gustillo a la edición de video ;-)
