hi, why my sound still worst even connected the audio cable from output to mic laptop & from mix in to earphone laptop.. u can check my vid at 'master of puppets metallica [drum cover] roland hd 1'

reduce the microphone gain on your laptop and decrease your drum volume to about 1/4, this avoid sound saturation.

Go to windows task bar: sound (the little speaker icon): record: click microphone properties: levels.

Then reduce the mic gain to 0.0 db and the mic level to about 25%.

au contraire, my sticks get black on their heads from the rubber. I use these only for electric.

Save one pair of drumsticks only for e-drums. Sticks with nylon heads are great for this.

hey dude, i wanna buy this thing but when i tested it, i tried out the rock kit with double bass activated (obviously I'm a (death) metal drummer), but the second tom was a woodblock or some shit and i was thinking "what the hell is that supposed to be good for, i want another tom!" Can you change that?

Because other than that this thing really slays! I mean it's not too big, not too small, not too many wires, and mesh-head snare. I want it as a pratice kit

that thing is a cowbell and i'm afraid it can't be changed.

but i guess you can always hook it up to your pc, so that I could use the "drumkit from hell" for example, right?

i usually work that way, though i've never tested DFH. i record double bass on one take and fills with toms on another, then i edit the audio (though i haven't upload videos with that kind of tricks yet).

with this kit and a PC your limit is your imagination.
