Wheelies easily on a 9.6 Nihm for the first few minutes they are full of power. This fades then the car is still fast for a while but you can tell the difference. I have been running 3300MAH 9.6V NIHM in E-Firestorm Flux Brushless but just ordered 3S 11.1V 4000mah lipo with 40C rating.
Good question...haven't tried it yet, But in theory it should, simply due to voltage. I'll have to try it and confirm ...on video too of course. Lipos would still hold the punch longer I would think...NiMH will taper down in power after only a few minutes, but would still be awesome.
