I like how in Dilbert, the writers didn't just push their religious/atheistic beliefs in this episode like how Seth McFarlance does with Family guy (primarily with Brian).
I have a few more video in the pipeline, but my family are visiting me here at work for a few weeks and they are more important than some silly YT videos :)
I believe that these vignettes helped Ms Palin (McCain's veep choice) formulate her views on "creation science". Although she may have backed away fro the position recently, she has in the past recommended teaching "creation science" along side of evolutionary "theory".
She's all that AND believes that human activity does not contribute to global warming. As an American, my embarrassment that she's in the public spotlight is exceeded only by my fear that she could actually become president some day :-(
The fact that popular creationists think that the Dilbert clip on evolution is "funny" and "even a dog knows evolution is false", only shows how ignorant they really really are.
There are so many blatantly outright incorrect arguments about it... I mean the "just a theory" one for example. And creationists STILL think those arguments are "valid"?
The sad thing is... you're right on two portions of that statement. The first being that, you were completly right... the second that, satire of them is extremely easy... so easy that satire of them can look exactly like the real deal.
Yup, sounds like a vague reference to Poe's Law (took me fucking forever to find the name of it the other day when I forgot the "Poe" part so I'm using it every chance I get to try and emphasize my neural pathways, or something).
wow, 6:33 was actually really profound, Dogbert is a great philosopher.

Sometimes having crappy speakers, which even when up as loud as they can go barely make a sound, has advantages!

Either the writers of Dilbert have no idea how science works or they're just poking fun.

This has been flagged as spam show
whoever writes this diblert is a dumbass with no understanding of science whatsoever. still kinda funny though.
