I don't see why people hate on assault so much. Sure, adventures was fun, in an UNstarfox kind of way. I can understand people hating it, but why assault? i mean at least fox isn't twirling around a staff trying to steal Link's thunder. He's actually going around using his blasters, flying, using the Landmaster, and pretty much being the epitome of a Starfox game. Granted, 64 was still my favorite. I play it all the time on my Wii, and on the original N64. Gotta love it. Still an epic video.

I just started playing this game again I beat surivial mode on silver mode without dieing once and I haven't played the single player mode for months I mostly play multiplayer.

I don't care what people say, this was/is one of the best Star Fox games. It'd be perfect if it was longer, and had a better balance of on-foot/landmaster/arwing levels. What would be great is a remake of Star fox 64 with the same style and graphics and engine, and longer and deeper story mode/campaign
