确实 中国大陆很多学生的思想方法和红卫兵没什么区别。但台湾朋友也应­该知道，中国大陆也有不一样思想的学生。假如我在台湾，可能会和­我的那些义愤填膺热爱祖国的同胞起冲突。。。

在香港，有些中国大陆学生也和香港学生起过冲突。不过我以前就是­在香港上的大学，我看到更多中国大陆留学生还是在接触到自由讯息­之后学会了独立思考，最后很多变到和香港人思想差不多了。我想到­台湾的大陆学生也会这样。

First of all,I don't really think Chinese people nowadays care about Taiwan independence issue as much as 10 years ago. Second, If you do want to be a free country/society,why it bothers you when someone stand out and say something different with what you think. Actually I see that as freedom and democracy which should be encouraged in a democratic society.

These students' "opinions" (which just happen to match those of the Chinese government) are an attempt to silence the voices of democracy supporters. If they are honestly interested in free speech, I recommend that they let their authoritarian government in China hear their voices like Wang Dan did in 1989.
