  • A first amendment attorney has to be about the most noble profession, quite a contrast from some of their colleagues.

  • Awesome.

  • it's crazy how much his voice sounds like seth rogan lol

  • Hi Penn fans. Penn Says videos have been discontinued, so you won't be seeing any new content on here. You can check out our Profile on our Channel Page for more info. We'll still be checking in, so hope to keep chatting with you all! Thanks!

  • YES! Keep the Drew Carey Snap alive! :-P

  • nice i love it

  • Ha, of course Penn has a friend that's a first amendment attorney.

  • The dissenting judge is an idiot for offering a false dichotomy in his argument.

  • @dorbie An issue that probably should have been brought up is this: Street performers may, by free speech, perform in public parks. But should they be allowed to solicit gratuities? I don't think a free speech argument can be made there, and being allowed to ask for change should be for performers who've gotten (reasonably priced) city permits.

  • i remember reading about that guy when i wanted to do busking in seattle!!!

  • I always knew you'd go far, Penn. ; )

  • If anyone can imagine a world where you cannot say what you truly believe as being their ideal utopia, then this is not the place for you. Why do you think so many people want to live next door to you? Because they can be whatever they want to be here, say what they want to say, and live their lives however they wish (as long as they don't defecate on their neighbor's lawn of course...sorry, could not resist the Jim Carey flow through). Congrats on getting into the big book of law, PJ.

  • "Often government restrictions on speech seem perfectly reasonable at first glance and the encroachment on expression forgivable in pursuit of convenience or good manners." ...which is exactly why the American's before us shrugged of the British rule to make this great country. Manners and social gratuity have their place, but they are so much and forever superseded by our founding principle of free speech.

  • I first heard this joke from South Park, at first I didn't get it, I actually had to Google the meaning of it to finally be able to laugh at it.

  • I've seen "The Aristocrats" it was hilarious, actually I'm gonna try and find that again...

  • I think that Drew Carrey did the little jig with the snapping fingers.

  • lol. he sure did. classic homage

  • wait what was the street performer doing?

  • I have to find your movie now, Penn.

  • Thanks for the feedback gang. As a reminder, let's try to keep the conversations somewhat civil and directed at the video content, not each other.

  • Funny shit though.

  • Some people just don't appreciate dark humor, what can I say!

    :-/

  • This has inspired me to go to town square, shoot and kill an illegal Mexican baby and have sex with its corpse while singing "La Cucuracha".

    Aaah I'm such an artist!!!

  • your a fucking moron

  • its you're, jackass.

  • You're just jealous that I don't want to fuck your corpse. What can I say? You're a fat, ugly little pig and below my standards.

    X-P

  • Okay - Favorite versions of the Aristocrats Joke for me, were by George Carlin, Penn & Teller, Matt Stone & Trey Parker, and Bob Saget. [*snapping fingers*]

  • Congratulations.

In being part of court history, you've joined George Carlin.

    Outstanding, sir.

  • When you make it to the 9th circuit you have finally made it! Have you guys found yourselves snapping your fingers more? I know I have...

  • Our Constitution .. to my mind, anyway, Judge .. guarantees all parks in this nation to be "The Aristocrats." The whole point of "Freedom of Speech" being .. I might hate with every fiber of my being what you are saying - but you have a right to say it. Maybe Mr. Kozinski was off looking for porn the day that was taught in Con Law?

    Google: "Kozinski Admonished"

  • YOU'RE responsible for The Aristicrats!?!?!?! Holy crap that movie was complete suck. Do you know WHY it sucked? BECAUSE THE JOKE WASN'T FUNNY. So the whole movie revolved around people who could be actively entertaining, but instead they're giving us a glimpse into the darkest recesses of their imaginations. existential? sure. funny? NOOOOOO. It's an hour or so dedicated to funny people being ANYTHING BUT FUNNY. I wasn't offended or anything. It was just boring.

WOW that was a terrible movie

  • It might have been funny if they had just told it, instead of makng a whole damn movie about it.

  • The Aristocrats is a very old performers joke. The point of the joke is that the joke itself is stupid, but a talented performer can deliver the joke in an entertaining way.

If you think the delivery was poor, then that's a fair criticism. If you think the joke was poor, then you're missing the point.

  • Everywhere should be the Aristocrats.

  • If more parks were like The Aristocrats ... they be much FUNNER places to visit! ;) As long as they weren't DOG parks....

  • Gave you five stars because its awesome you got mentioned.

  • we would love a q&a with your attorney. he sounds like a great guy to listen to.

  • The "Guys that won." ARE NOT THE HIP GUYS! LISTEN TO YOURSELF! LAY DOWN THE JOLT. LOVE YA BUT...

  • If you Snap on a Crackle vid, is that copyright infringement? I mean it's 2/3's of the whole phrase. I don't want to say it lest the elves hunt me down.

  • i wouldn't worry about them, they are still hurting after the Kiebler elves raided their hideout.

  • It's only copyright infringement if you Snap on a Crackle vid while talking about Pop culture...

  • @EpochSounds

I love you for that comment.

  • snap snap snap

  • I want to see more magic tricks!

  • *snap*

  • live-action art be apart of the creation

  • Ya know, if they can make Toxic Avenger: The Musical and put puppetry of the penis and the vagina monologues off broadway, you should consider making an actual live show for a public park based on the Aristocrats- it'd be like Shakespeare in the park but covered in shit and body fluids.

I'm available if you want someone to sell popcorn at this 'festival'. (You wouldn't even have to pay me)

  • PS Make sure you have Gilbert Gottfried to run commentary for it....dressed in some sort of bird costume-maybe the parrot from Aladdin?

  • This is the best comment I've seen on YouTube in a while.

  • "The Aristocrats" FTW!

  • I prefer "The Sophisticates"... for reasons actually outlined in "The Aristocrats". Score one more for the constitution!

  • Its fucked up how our goverment slowly and systematicly is stripping us of all of our rights. These goverment pricks are taking what makes our country so great. Our freedom !! our constitution had been over ridden long ago with the patriot act. Everything after that is a sham, because the government can take our constitutional rights our government can do whatever the fuck it wants to us.

People are slowly realising that they arent free at all.

  • I second that. We still have the power but most have forgotten that. Never forget that Hitler was voted into office.

  • hey penn why dont you make you videos available in canada. you just lost a subscriber cause of it.

  • Penn doesn't control the licensing agreements.

  • How would deny the rights of street performers "bring us together as a rich and varied community"? Wouldn't it push some way from each other and reduce the richness and variety of the community?

    Weird judge

  • bob saget had probably the dirtiest most vulgar version of the aristocrats...i may have thrown up a little in my mouth listening to his rendition! lmao

  • I thought the enterprise's mission was to seek out new life? O_o

  • Ahhh, I love "The Aristocrats."

  • As a comedy lover, "The Aristocrats" is hilarious every time I watch it. 'Twas a great movie, Penn!

    YankovicFarley

  • Oh man, that is a nasty joke.

  • isn't the point of the first amendment to protect unpopular speech? i don't think the founding fathers intended for judges to legislate morality from the bench. if that were the case we could go on forever trying to figure out what is moral and what is not. i hate to see people protesting against America, but when i see it i just walk away. but not before telling them they are fuck-faces. thanks Penn for another great video.

  • First to rate! Sorry Penn, by the way, great video, as always.

  • have you no shame

  • Yes, that's why I said sorry. I usually don't do that. In fact, I've only done that twice.
