@naminesoraluv Yeah there's a few things there that don't make sense. Ayeka and Sasami were in stasis on the trip around the cosmos before reaching Earth. This took around 700+ years but Ayeka appears as a teenager and Sasami a little girl due to the process. If memory serves Ryoko is around....200,000 (?) years old. So, I guess it's all relative in alien Tenchi land :P What I never got is how come it didn't take 700 years for Ayeka's family to reach Earth? o.o

Story is thus: 3 goddesses(Washu, Tsunami and Tokimi) are trying to create a lifeform superior to themselves. Each Goddess tried their own method. Tokimi created Z who you see late on. Tsunami created the Jurai royal bloodline which ultimately produced Tenchi and Washu tried cloning herself as a mortal being which produced Ryoko and indirectly Kagato. Kagato bizarrely did succeed at achieving that post-Godhood by absorbing enough power from the gems but was cut down by Tenchi moments later.
