@AnotherDayInTheNJ its just leveled with 33's or 285's, I can't remember. The only thing done to the motor is a DP tuner.

I completely agree! Trucks shouldnt have four doors. Reg. Cab or Ext. cab only and always long bed. All diesel powered things are great!

Im only reg or extended. And it HAS to be long bed. Crew cabs just look stupid. This truck is amazing looking. This is what a real truck looks like, not some 4 door import gasser piece of crap

Agreed. All I need to be happy is a diesel truck, a sportbike (preferably Italian, Ducati), and an Italian supercar. The gasoline cars and machine is drive HAVE to be fast!

hrrc so if you know your 302 how well do you know your 5.3.. i got this vortec 5.3 and i bored it to a 6.6 duramax and the thing just smokes tires like a dragster.. and the exaust is just straight black.. i got the 250 horse injectors and 4 chips all stacked on it thinking maybe it will suck some clean air in there but its all pure black some... any sugestions?

sounds like when you bored your 5.3 to a 6.6 duramax you forgot to put a turbocharger on there. I suggest finding a turbocharger and bolting it onto the passenger side exhaust manifold. If that doesnt clear it up, put one on the drivers side too.

Put a really really big turbo on it.. Your fuel to air ratio is out of whack. You have way too much fuel in the cylinders.

i think my air fuel ratio is just right... i will see if i can get any videos of the truck this weekend... thats if my clutch will let me..

i cant tell if your joking or serious. i didnt think you can make a 5.3 gas motor into a 6.6 diesel. but then again i dont know a whole lot about that sort of thing. sick truck though!

its a 2000 xl with a newer interior and an 06/07 grille on it.

Hrrc i know u guys know ur diesels.. but how well do u know about the 302's? i got a problem with my 89 F-150.. i went to install a new K&N air filter and when i pulled the old one out it was soaked in fuel.. got any suggestions?

are you sure its not oil from the breather tube? Check your PCV valve.

Try checking the fuel pressure regulator (Its fuel injected, correct?) Sometimes the pressure regulator went bad and vacuum would pull fuel right through the regulator and into the intake.
