Most Japanese wouldn't give Christianity the time of day and view Christian activities like carnival side shows.
Less than 1% of Japan is Christian, which speaks well for their rationality.

Nobody is perfect on Earth, and therefore nobody is good enough to get to a perfect Heaven on her or his own. It's only logical that Jesus be the only way to Heaven, because we could never do enough good deeds to earn our way there.

I'm sorry but I don't see it that way. While I appreciate and respect live-and-let-live Christians, others are not so open minded. But it's not because of the followers; it's what's in the scriptures. Many passages speak terribly of non believers, abuse, even kill them and threaten them with hell.
A well known passage:
"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good." - Psalm 14-1.
That psalm has nothing to do with killing people, and does not condemn "fools" (morally deficient people). It is just stating that when there is no accountability, people do horrible things without a second thought.
Nowhere in the New Testament does God condone murder of any sort on his behalf, and people who do murder "for" Him are misunderstanding something and are the real fools. The message Jesus sends is to love, not hate. God is not trying to hurt people, he's trying to help them.
Psalm 14-1 is pretty clear about what it says about nonbelievers. I think you view the bible through rose colored glasses. Though I admit the NT is kindler and gentler than the OT, it is not completely so. Hell is not even mentioned in the OT and didn't make it's threat known until "benevolent" Jesus came along.
There are serious moral problems with the bible along with serious doubts of it's factual validity and contradiction of science and reason..
I encourage you in the Lord Jesus to keep on fire for your love for the Japanese people and sthe spreading of the glory of God by preaching the Gospel there! Bless you!!

stupid computer hit post before I was finished. you are allowed to have fun when you are worshiping. if it was a slow song, they wouldn't have done it. clearly the whole idea was to have fun, thats why it is in japanese. I didn't know it was un-biblical to have fun during worship, king david seem to be having fun when he was dancing around 1/2 naked.
You make a very good point musicniklas. There are many ways to worship the Lord, and it's NOT only in music. We should worship him with our mouths, eyes, and actions everyday. One could certainly question whether the crowd surfing gentleman's focus was truly on God at that moment. Hmmmm... having fun is important, but we need to remember why we gather together as well, and it is certainly NOT to put ourselves on the stage, but to welcome Jesus there. Jesus is the one who should be surfing, lol.

stupid computer hit post before I was finished. you are allowed to have fun when you are worshiping. if it was a slow song, they wouldn't have done it. clearly the whole idea was to have fun, thats why it is in japanese. I didn't know it was un-biblical to have fun during worship, king david seem to be having fun when he was dancing around 1/2 naked.

You make a very good point musicniklas. There are many ways to worship the Lord, and it's NOT only in music. We should worship him with our mouths, eyes, and actions everyday. One could certainly question whether the crowd surfing gentleman's focus was truly on God at that moment. Hmmmm... having fun is important, but we need to remember why we gather together as well, and it is certainly NOT to put ourselves on the stage, but to welcome Jesus there. Jesus is the one who should be surfing, lol.

oh gosh i need to find myself a japanese christian i love japan they are so energetic and devoted to watever they do wether it is good or bad it just warms my heart to see my favorite race of people praising the lord it gives me hope for one day when i go to japan to find christians i hope more of the japanese come to christ i would hate to see any of those amazing extremly talented people go to hell

everybody has the right to worship God! .. they just translated the song to make it closer to their hearts and to help other japanese believers who are not that good in english ..
as long as they believe in God and as long as they have a strong faith, they can worship God in any way they like ..
